First, Kenmare was absolutely our favorite town in Ireland. Nothing could compare to it's charm! This B&B was the perfect companion to such a quaint town. It is five minutes from the town. The cure appeal is just perfect! The gardens and playhouse were pristine....More
I enjoyed our stay at the Thatched Cottage. The host was great, food was really good. I loved the location which was very close to Kenmare (pretty 3 minute drive). Building was really cozy. My only complaint was comfort of the mattresses. I'm a skinny,...More
It is alway a pleasure to stay at a B&B where you feel part of the family. It was quiet, comfortable and breakfast was good. Tea and biscuits on arrival and our hosts always there to provide information or just pass the time of day....More

I'm not sure all the property owners are reading Tripadvisor. These are busy families and probably not as in tune to the resources Americans are using. One of the tour guides we hired hadn't even heard of Tripadvisor and had no idea he was highly rated on here! I did find that the owners of this property were highly responsive by email, however, and am sure they can best answer that question for you.
