I'd have to say that Randwick wasn't our favorite among the 6 B&Bs we visited on our recent trip through Ireland. It's in a good spot on the way into Ballyshannon, which is on the edge of Donegal, and that made it attractivesince it was early in our trip and had no idea how long the drives would take to...

We were to stay at our previous B& B for two nights but had to leave. We looked in an B&B book I had picked up somewhere along the way on this our 4th trip to Ireland and under Ballyshannon found Randwick. We knocked at the door and John answered. I asked if he had a room for the night...

Our hosts John and Clare could not have made us more welcome into their home.We came to Donegal on a family history search. The B & B is easy to find and within close proximity to two townships. John and Clare do all their own cooking using most of their own produce with Johns jams to die for. Can't thank John...

Having just returned from Ballyshannon, I stayed with John and Claire Hughes the proprietors. I musty say that the stay was made that more special by them with the warmest of welcomes. Their B&B is a lovely place, very clean, very tidy and they could not do any more to help their guests. Their B&B is but a mile away...

This is the first time in our Irish travels that the family have incorporated us. Maybe thats due to their Australian links, but overall we found the whole experience elevated by that. We had a room on the ground floor (I couldnt face the stairs), and it was a bit cramped, but still we had control of the heating and...

You are really part of the house here. Our room was at the back overlooking the back yard. Although the bedroom was compact the ensuite was very good. The breakfast & the dining room was very good & John had lived in Australia for 20 years so was happy to have a chat. Lovely gardens at front & they make...

Not a bad place, but not outstanding either. It was your typical b&b, although the first impression upon walking in was it smelled a bit musty. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The staircase was a bit narrow and the steps had no backing so it was a bit awkward and slightly treacherous carrying the bags upstairs and back...

Room was clean, heather doesn't work. Rest of house was filthy, it was the meaning that we stay together with family in familylounge, that the fight over clicker start
