Sad to see standards have slipped here. Stopped off here en route to Donegal for coffee (designated driver) and a drink for my friend. The drink was served in a dirty glass. This was politely pointed out to the bar lady who just grabbed the glass abruptly and poured the drink down the sink, no apology ensued. A new drink...

I enjoyed the comfort and historic feel of the hotel and it's proximity to the sea. In front of the hotel is a seaside path that goes for miles. The hotel is one of the very few in Ireland that has gas fireplaces (almost every other hotel had air quality issues from peat burning).

This is a great hotel - from the scenery, the rooms, the facilities and the welcome. We were a family of five and I have never experienced such a warm feeling. The only downside was the weather. We arrived during a storm! We will certainly be visiting this hotel again.

We have just got back from a two night stay in this great hotel! The staff are extremely welcoming, the food is excellent and reasonably priced! The rooms are of a good decorative standard including the onsite fixtures and fittings! We had a really relaxing stay and would definitely go back there again!
