Very welcome on arrival and rooms clean and beautiful and we felt at home . The food was great and the staff was very friendly couldn't ask for more . It didn't make a difference that the hotel was full to the capital we waited for nothing and that was great and we still had a great time and loads...

Once great and majestic hotel is now in need of a make-over. Even though early in the season some basic things not right...not enough heat in room, poor TV reception, and toilet cistern that kept trickling away all night These are basic things and and should be kept right. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good and the location...

Bundoran has suffered badly in the economic downturn and when we booked to stay a night in this hotel. I wanted to be favourable. Sadly, the word average -at best is what comes to mind. The entire bar area needs a good clean, the curtains on the area looking out to the headland seem to be 30 years old. We...

The room was comfortable & clean enough but with peeling wallpaper & handdryers it could really do with a facelift. Unfortunately the aper thin walls & constant slamming of doors in the corridor at all hours of the night meant there was a night of uninterupted sleep (we could even hear the people next door on the loo, no doubt...

Was there with friends before the Christmas period. Stayed for 3 wonderful nights and ate dinner twice there. There was a young German boy, Jurgen who served us each night and was a joy to talk to. My friend told me he looks like the Liverpool manager. His English was good, sometimes unclear but never messed up our order! Jurgen...

We had pre booked a round of golf for Tuesday 2nd jan arriving at 9-45 for a 10-28 tee off ,we were told that as to a previous nights frost we would have to wait until the sun rose enough to thaw the ground. This was reasonable enough so we decided to get a cup of coffee in the main...

Booked in for gala new year's eve event. This turned out to be a few elderly couples doing slow line dancing shuffles to prerecorded music. No gala extras or entertainment. Food at evening meal in restaurant was reheated, bland and dry. At breakfast time you were required to make your own toast, for which you had to queue. On retiring...

Not really sure how this hotel is rated as 4 star. The location is great and the staff are very helpful but unfortunately that is where it ends. The rooms are old, smell bad and are cold, the same goes for the corridors, bar and dining room. Brown water came out of the shower in our room when it was...
