Just spent 2 nights at The Ocean Sands Hotel. Fantastic spot with fantastic staff. The food there is very good served in a lovely restuarant with a fantastic view.. Will be back for sure. Great buzz in the place with a great mixture of young and older guests.

Although the decor is a bit plain and it can be too busy especially on a Sunday, the view of the atlantic and beach is beautiful. The menu is simple but really good with large portions and inexpensive.

Hotel is clean and spacious. The lift is ridiculously slow as there is only one. Onyx bar is welcoming and food is Ok. Check out Ait Eile next door for dinner. Beach is very close so it's a good option for family break.

The staff are just magnificent, nothing is too much trouble and they really do make everyone feel special. My 10 year old enjoyed Peebles play area and Emma went out...
