We stayed here for a night on our driving trip around Ireland. It's tucked away behind the old Abbey. The house is old and smells that way. Our room was decent enough - could have used more light. We were welcomed by John and later met Christine. They were very accommodating in getting us things we didn't have and the...

This big white house is included included in some of the Boyle Abbey postcard photos. The rooms were large and elegant, and ours included a full bathtub - - something we hadn’t seen in other B n Bs. Christine obviously loves children and she and her son John were very forgiving when our little guy broke a glass vase. A...

John welcomed us in and was helpful and attentive. The house is huge, old, and well kept. The house shares the grounds with a 12th century abbey, and has the Boyle river running through the property. John and Christine are wonderful people and make you feel like one of the family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious...

John and Christine were very nice hosts! Christine's breakfast was delicious and John brought much laughter to the conversations. The house is beautiful - we only ran into a few hiccups - the toilet didn't flush regularly and the tv was very small. The house is in a perfect location for visiting Boyle and a short drive from Carrick On...

They are the reason it is called Bed and Breakfast lodging, they really do welcome you into their home and make you feel "At Home!" The house is a step back into time with all the modern perks.
