I have visited the restaurant and bar at the grand hotel on several occasions. The Carvery lunch prices at 12.50 euro is well worth the effort with high quality meats, plenty of vegetables and a good array of desserts.

Hotel looks excellent from the outside, very "Grand", inside however it is a bit different. On checking in the receptionist asked three, possibly four times if we would like to leave a card against the room - god loves a trier. The bar/lounge are dated and needs renovated badly. We watched a bit of sport in the bar, most of...

The Grand has grand character. I would not say it is grand in decor, room amenities, or room comfort, but it is a great hotel. The staff is very professional but always courteous. I love the breakfast here. It is served in the coast restaurant overlooking the inlet and the food is great. I have not had other meals here,...

The hotel itself looks pretty impressive on the outside, the rooms are standard however (well.. mine was..), and seems to have been so since the mid-eighties. This hotel looks like it could have been the centrepiece in a British crime series, the overall feeling in the public areas are Grand for sure, but the feeling stops when you enter your...

Very disappointed to consistently wait a long time to get the attention of the receptionist. note the use of singular--one receptionist--the hotel does have 150 rooms. It is Saturday evening. Three different times I had to wait, and wait.... The parking lot was totally full and we had to park off site--and lug our suitcases to the hotel. At the...

I stayed for two nights, 4th and 5th of February 2017. I got a massive bedroom, very airy and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is a buffet and it's gorgeous, lunch and dinner are fab too. I had the lamb lunch before I left on Sunday and it was absolutely delicious! The staff are really lovely, would definitely recommend this...

Stayed in a lovely sea view room with lots of room overlooking the Marina. Hotel itself very busy, a bit expensive but well worth the extra. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant with a varied menu of excellent food at very competitive prices with the restaurants in Malihide. There is also a very well kept Spa/Gym within 50 meters of...

We arrived yesterday for one night. Great location with wonderful walks and close to the station and Dublin. The room disappointed. Clean but a bit tired and a view over a car park! The bathroom has a very out of date bath and shower and not at all suitable for the elderly. Also the heated towel rail in the bath...
