This hotel is in a great location in Malahide within easy walking distance of a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops in this beautiful seaside area of north county Dublin. If you prefer a walk along the seafront then Malahide is perfect. We stayed here in early October and enjoyed visits to a few fine establishments (Smtyths, Fowlers, Gibneys!)...

Check in was fast and efficient, and what an impressive lobby despite the filthy windows and fingermarked glass doors. Room was acceptable , but we had to go into Malahide for a quiet(ish) drink as the hotel bar was full of televisions with blaring Sky sports and screaming running children running riot everywhere. We ate in the town ,but the...

My sister and I took our parents to stay at the grand hotel in July 2014. Lovely, older style hotel and good breakfast. We are in a lovely fish restaurant in the town (nautilus). The only disappointment is that the hotel wouldn't let us check in straight away (we arrived after the standard check in time) and that they do...

We arrived at the hotel at 2.30pm having booked 2 adjacent rooms with a sea view. When you enter the reception you think Wow, this looks fab. Spacious, airy and very GRAND. 4pm and we are still waiting to get in and what a big let down. Both rooms were tiny, one did have a sea view the other a...
