The Grand was the last Hotel on our trip to Ireland and it didn't disappoint. We had a lovely welcome and had been upgraded to an executive room with a sea view. Our room was good size, great bed and linens nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The Hotel itself is fairly big but you do feel that you are a...

We stayed at The Grand our first night in Ireland on a 15 day Tour with Royal Irish Tours. This was our first time to Ireland so there were a few things we did not know. First, if you are from North America or other countries where Central air conditioning is the norm, you should know out of all the...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay with us. I am disappointed you felt that the hotel is too big and that it lacks charm. The heating is on a timer, and comes on in the evening time for a few hours at this time of year. The radiators can be turned off manually in each...

Stayed here with my husband and young children. The family room was smaller than anticipated but aside from that it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet with no noise from outside. We didn't have a sea-view but it didn't affect our enjoyment of the room. The hotel was very child friendly and...

This has the feel of a 'grand hotel' in the old sense of the term. Big communal rooms, high ceilings and a busy atmosphere.
