Spent two nights here and what an absolute delightful and hedonistic experience. The house is an old Irish jem, beautifully and lovingly maintained. The public rooms are comfortable, warm and welcoming; the main drawing room is beautifully furnished, the focal point being a magnificent fireplace with a roaring wood fire. Our bedroom was large, warm and, thankfully, without a television....

This was our 2nd time here (the last time was in the mid 90's) and it has lost none of its charm. The room we stayed in ("Vineyard") was bigger than some apartments I've visited! It's a corner room, overlooking the courtyard on one side, and the vineyard on another. It didn't have a TV, but in all honesty, why...

We have just had a wonderful weekend experience in longueville house. Debbie the manager was helpful, friendly and professional in the way she dealt with us. Michael our waiter was very attentive to our needs making sure that I got my pot of hot water with my coffee. The food is of a very high standard with a good wine...

I was a frequent visitor to Longueville House when I was lucky enough to work in Ireland over 20 years ago and finally got the chance recently to see if lived up to my fond memories. It did not disappoint in any way! Longueville House is a grand place but feels so homely and cosy. The staff led by Jane...

My husband & I have just returned home from a lovely overnight in Longueville. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly Debbie. We were shown to our room, the Senator room. Situated at the front of the house on the 1st floor with beautiful views. Clean and well maintained. Basic bathroom but warm and clean. Minor problem with...

We had the pleasure of getting married at Longueville House in Oct '16, having a civil ceremony in The Presidents Room followed by our reception. From the start Aisling & the whole team could not have been more helpful. They were so accommodating & made the whole experience magical. Everyone who attended commented on how wonderful & welcoming everyone was,...

My husband and I were so disappointed with our weekend stay in Longueville. We had stayed there about 10 years ago and had such a totally different experience. They asked us to book our dinners a week before arrival, which we did. On night one we ended up eating in the bar crouched over low tables. We stayed in the...

It's been many years since I visited Longueville House but I am already planning a return visit. On this occasion we were only able to spend one night here but the relaxation, comfort and homely luxury experience made it feel like a longer escape to recharge the batteries. We arrived to a roaring log fire and had a lovely bowl...

A one night get away (without the kids) allowed us to be lord and lady of the manor. Aisling was the perfect hostess and gave us such a warm welcome and explained the operational side of the estate in great detail. We munched our way around the walled garden sampling the finest fresh fruit, - the purple apples are a...

We found this place very relaxing. Staff were v welcoming and were helpful and efficient throughout our stay. We were not that delighted with our first room and they changed it without us even asking them two - smart service IMO. Grounds were lovely and we enjoyed walking them even in the rain - I quite liked that it is...
