I cannot praise this hotel enough. The people are friendly and food is available at more or less anytime. The room was comfortable with shower only, would have preferred a bath as well. The food itself was very good and a very good varied menu. We had a rib-eye steak one night and it was delicious. Mallow itself is a... More

Great place to stay, clean room new bathroom, you can eat in restaurant or I would recommend eating in the bar. Reception staff very helpful, free parking behind hotel, hotel right in the main high Street, easy access to all main routes also nice walks along the river past castle ruins. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We were on our way back from the rock of Cashel and the kids were hungry. First the regular guests are seated at separate tables and the dinner guests close to the door. The food was OK but they mixed up our order completely. First the kids were not given fish and chips, they corrected it but then my husband... More

Stayed here with my two young daughters in August, fabulous hotel located centrally in the pretty town of Mallow. Food was great, breakfast plentiful and we visited the swimming pool twice which was really great. One of the best things though was how friendly and helpful the staff were, they genuinely couldn't do enough for you to make your stay... More

The room were small and very shabby and basic. Needs a good over hall to meet meet a somewhat reasonable nice place to stay. The breakfast was not good and we had to ask the waitress for every thing so in the end we got it our selves . I was expecting nice fresh homemade brown bread and jams but... More

Stopped in with my wife and our son for lunch recently. Firstly the layout of the carvery restaurant is very good. The staff are very helpful but more importantly the lunch was just divine. We had supreme of chicken and a vegetable stir fry. Cooked and served to perfection. Well done to the chef in charge. Will definitely return for... More

The Hibernian offers an exceptional breakfast experience – one that you rarely get these days. They actually have a varied menu during the week and the commonplace buffet at the weekend. What impressed me was the breakfast staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Kept guests well supplied, speedily and efficiently. In fact the Hibernian has the casual eating side of... More

Stayed for one night over the bank holiday weekend, while accommodation was clean, room was extremely basic . More like a gusthouse than a hotel room. Would most definitely not recommend . Dated and in extreme need of redecorating, bathroom sink cracked
