The Emmet House is very special in every way. Great rooms, caring & efficient service, wonderful music (especially Pig in the bar) and good food. Easy parking, too. I stayed three nights and will always return when I'm in town. I'm a big fan now. Joe

Beautifully restored hotel on a gorgeous georgian square in the heart of Clonakilty. Opposite the Michael Collins museum and minutes away from the main street packed with cute little coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Our family room was really spacious, and tastefully decorated and the kids loved it. Some of the rooms overlooked the elegant square or else over the...

An absolute haven located in the heart of Clonakilty. The quaint, cosy, centrally located and friendly nature of this boutique hotel ensures a stay that will provide all that you may require. By far the nicest centrally located hotel that Clonakilty has to offer.

Delightful hotel in a lovely square in clonakilty. In west cork. Food was tasty and reasonable value, great cup of tea. Staff were excellent and very attentive not to mention chatty giving plenty of insight on west cork. Well recommend a trip in.

Went for Sunday lunch with my mum on Mother's Day. We both ordered the lamb. It was just two slices of fatty lamb accompanied by 2 roast potatoes and some red cabbage. Very disappointing but staff seemed genuinely apologetic

BLOODYFANTASTIC! From a perfect welcome to the sweetest end. After a very long journey from Gloucester (I can not sleep in or on anything other than a bed) We were checked in and immediately the lovely lady on reception noticed my tired bedraggle looks, and offered me hot tea and toast, and a early key to our beautiful room so...

I stayed at The Emmet Hotel for 4 nights whilst visiting Clonakilty on a short break. I genuinely could find no fault with anything during my stay. The hotel staff were extraordinarily friendly and courteous right from check-in to my departure. The bar serves delicious meals (I can highly recommend the salmon). A wide variety of breakfasts were available but...

Good food. Very tasty. Prices acceptable. Service was descent. We are in the bar part not the restaurant so for bar food I thought it was handy, tasty and nice. Good toasted sandwiches. Mains also looked nice. A nice place to eat. (Beautiful period front room to see also).
