We first went into the bar and found it bleak and bare. However we looked at the menu and chose what we wanted to eat. The menu was the usual pub style offerings. There was nothing special at all in the choices. We were shown in to the restaurant area and seated. The room was decorated with bric a brac...

Had dinner in the restaurant in the Imperial. This restaurant was recommended by a passer-by and definitely lived up to expectations. Friendly kind waitress couldn't do enough for her guests. Food was excellent with decent portion sizes offering excellent value for money. There was a very friendly atmosphere in the hotel although we didn't stay so cannot review the accommodation...

Great value. Massive portions. Varied menu and as well as kids menu they are also happy to do half portions of everything. Just perfect when you want a good dinner without the hassle of cooking for the family.

Bathroom was terrible, the shower was filthy- black mildew all over the shower tray and around the drain. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It...

Just returned from a 14 day tour of Ireland. The Imperial in Cork was one of the highlights of the trip. From the bartenders to the staff at the check out desk, this hotel was first class. We had 3 rooms, all beautiful. One of us used the spa and talked about it for the rest of the trip! Everyone...

Went for "high tea" after a pleasant day out in Clonakilty. While the decor is not the most welcoming the food more than impresses.Tasty, fresh and generous meals served by pleasant and efficient staff.Great value will be back!

Can't say anything wrong about this hotel. Very good location, friendly staff, but need little bit renovation there. They trying keep antique style, but look like very very antique :D Food in hotel very simple ,but tasty... I saw a lot family coming there for small lunch parties - christening ,birthday. Car parking with security cameras let you enjoy holiday and not worry...
