This is my 6th stay at The Blindgate. Great spot can walk to town easily. Never disappointed clean friendly and the best scrambled eggs ever. I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B when visiting Kinsale. Maeve the owner is very accommodating cooking breakfast early on our departure day with a smile. I definitelywill stay at The Blindgate the next time we go...

This was our first stop on our journey thru Ireland. It set a high bar for rest of our vacation and nothing came close. The location was good, it was quiet, rooms large and very clean, breakfast terrific. Loved the waffles. Maeve was great at recommending restaurants, pubs, music, she knew it all. We are an older couple traveled with...

I have been staying in Kinsale for a week every fall for the past 20 years. Been fortunate to stay in some nice places, but Blindgate has everything that makes my stay very comfortable. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and the best breakfast in town. The location two blocks away from the downtown area assures me a solid...

We stayed here in June 2016 with our two daughters, age 7 and 10 years. We stayed in many places during our trip to Ireland and Blindgate was our favorite during the entire trip. Parking was easy and on site. The location was perfect, affording an easy to walk to all of the sites of incredible Kinsale. Maeve, the manager,...

Stayed here for one night during our recent visit to Ireland. A very nice accommodation, though it felt more like a small hotel than a B&B.The room was very pleasant and reasonable roomy, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the true highlight of our stay, though. The cold buffet was outstanding, with fresh fruit, granola and excellent cheese and cold...

This guest house is situated up the hill from the main town so is quiet in the evenings. Purpose built and everything in really good order. Lovely breakfast and nothing is to much trouble for Maeve and her team. A great and comfortable centre for exploring this beautiful area of Ireland.
