Can't recommend this place enough; Clean, family friendly, great staff and the best Breakfast in Ireland, stayed here recently with my husband and two young children, it was perfect from the start, our room was HUGE so the kids could roam around, the staff are so nice and helpful they suggested fun things to do during the day in the...

I've just come back from my annual visit to the Friars Lodge in the beautiful town of Kinsale. I'm pleased to report that the Friars Lodge is as it always was: terrific! All the rooms are large with comfy beds and good en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. Hair dryer, iron with ironing board, choice of pillow and tea / coffee...

We were fortunate to stay at the Friar's Lodge in Kinsale for three nights. We were traveling with our 13 year old grandson and booked a Family Room which had a queen and a single bed. The room was tastefully decorated, very large with a sitting area containing three comfy wing chairs. The location made walking to the village center...

Stayed there with my family, extremely nice people brilliant breakfast with brilliant choice of fish freshly caught. Very underrated in a good spot with lots of activities in town for you on your own or for friends and family.

We recently just stayed at the Friars Lodge for one night. One night too many in the end. We stayed here as my parents stayed here 7 years ago and loved the service and location, clearly service has gone downhill since then. When we arrived at 5pm (reasonable time considering the traveling we were doing), there was NO ONE THERE....

All my Family really enjoyed our stay, but my 10,12 and 13 were disappointed that the Wi-Fi did not reach the 2nd floor,I didn't mind!As a very light sleeper I was woken several times by noisy plumbing,my family slept through it.But a delicious breakfast made up for it.We would visit again.

Kinsale is great, and the location of this B&B is fabulous. The rooms are large, and fine, but nothing special. We were there during a difficult weather period... there were power outages and trouble getting a hot shower. Maureen was kind to help us find a room at a local place that did have a hot shower! The hospitality of...

This was a perfectly fine hotel- friendly nice and clean- I just gave it the 4/5 as it was rated a 4 star vs the other 3 stars that we typically stay at. If this would have been a 3 star then it would have deserved a 5 rating. They had a very nice breakfast and very helpful at the...

We stayed here for one night. It's perfect for a hen party. The rooms are soooooo spacious and immaculately clean. We booked rooms with 4 & 5 beds in a room and they were still so spacious. Perfect for a hen party to keep costs down and the girls had a great time sharing in groups. Maureen was fantastic to...
