We chose Adare as a central location for a group travelling from different areas of Ireland. Adare, to me, is a tourist village with English style houses and expensive shops but we enjoyed a quick wander about and afternoon tea in the Manor itself. I had eaten in the bar in the Dunraven before and the food continues to be...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour booking. Our room was well appointed, comfy beds, good wi-fi. The bar service is friendly and the buffet breakfast each day one of the best I have enjoyed. I'd happily stay here again.

We stayed at Dunraven on the recommendation if my sister who had been a few years prior. Did not have a good experience. Lukewarm reception upon arrival. Room was very smelly. Bathroom had very dirty caulking and scary fluorescent lighting. Minimal hospitality in the bar for drinks. Indifferent staff when we checked out. Won't be back.

Booked this last minute and got a great deal. It used to be an old haunt of mine when I travelled frequently around Ireland and was always a favourite. The restaurant is still producing excellent menus, with exceptional service. Great choice on the menu and each course was as delicious as the next. Wine is not overpriced and the house...

I really don't know where to start for this review: the wonderful starter, the amazing main course or the fabulous dessert ? We were told by friends that this hotel was THE place to go for Sunday Lunch and we can now see why. It's olde world charm, it's wonderfully attentive staff & it's amazing food all contributed to the...

My wife and I had not had a proper break for almost 10 months. We chose the Dunraven as we noticed it had been awarded Georgina Campbell Hotel of The Year 2014. From the moment we stepped in the door we could feel ourselves winding down. Dinner on the first evening in the restaurant was really excellent so we decided...

Our stay in the Dunraven Arms was full of unexpected surprises. Its rather old world exterior and unassuming entrance foyer does not prepare one for the very high level of service, food and accommodation. We had a wonderful bedroom, so spacious, so peaceful and well equipped. The food was superb, far removed from some mass-produced hotel menus. There was a...

Cute hotel, wonderful staff, lovely food, indoor pool. Lovely grounds. The room was big as was the powder room , beds were comfy. Local town is small and walkable with plenty of pubs and shops. What could better is the shower, the shower curtain attacks as you are showering, perhaps a glass enclosure would be better. Last thing is I'm...
