We stayed here for a couple of days and had some good chats with our friendly host Mary. If you're after advice on what to see or do then Mary can help. The B&B is on a farming property just outside Adare. The building is old and showing some wear as would be expected. I like to think of it...

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at Clonunion House recently. Mary is a wonderful person, so helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Clonunion House is a grand old property with lots of character and a long and interesting history, in pretty and peaceful grounds just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Adare. Our room...

Where to begin on how lovely this visit was - firstly the owner came and collected us from the bus station. Then she brought us to the beautiful guesthouse and showed us to our room - which was HUGE. Nearly as big as my apartment! It's the kind of room you would except to get in a castle, and that...

Mary was a wonderful hostess. We felt right at home and she welcomed us in. The hospitality was great and we really enjoyed the wine and cheese :). Her house is a beautiful farm house built in the 1700s. It truly captures the beauty of Ireland. Breakfast was delightful and the scenery around the house was absolutely breathtaking. I highly...

We stayed in several places on our 2 week vacation and this one was for sure on our top 2. Mary is a welcoming kind and helpful host that made you feel very comfortable from the moment you came in. This is a lovely old home, full of charm and history. We had a very spacious room, nicely decorated and...

We stayed two nights in Mary's wonderful little BnB when attending a wedding in Adare. We arrived quite late but that was not a problem. We where shown to our large and beautiful room overlooking the meadows (where horses used to bred, so we where told during one of the breakfasts). The room was simple but large and nicely decorated,...

We arrived at Clonunion House after over 26 hours of traveling and Mary was so warm and welcoming. Showing us to our room quickly and letting us settle in. The room was lovely, tall ceilings, a cozy table and chairs by the bay window, a comfortable bed. The grounds are large enough for walks and simply relaxing. We walked down...

We loved our recent stay at Mary's historic farmhouse just outside of Adare (a lovely town). Mary welcomed us with Tea and biscuits and enjoyable conversation. Our room was huge with lovely antiques, comfortable beds, big bathroom and a beautiful view of the pasture with cows! Our breakfast was delicious as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed our far-too-brief stay at this beautiful B&B. Mary was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome on arrival but at the same time was not at all obtrusive and checked us in very quickly to allow us to make our appointment elsewhere on time. The breakfast was lovely (especially the gorgeous bread) and felt relaxed...

Mary has to be the sweetest lady on earth. Huge bedrooms in this historic house with antiques. Feeling of being way out in the country, but you really aren't far from town. Lovely views while sitting at breakfast. So peaceful!!! Great breakfast! Hated to leave Mary!
