I was on my first visit to Ireland with my Mom who had been before many years ago. We stayed at the Coatesland for 2 nights and both wished we could have stayed longer but other reservations were made prior to our trip. Florence was the quintessential Irish hostess and was excellent at it. She is warm and caring and...

We stayed here on our first three nights in Ireland. Florence, the owner, is an excellent host who makes everyone feel right at home. The breakfeast was a great Irish feast. She catered to our special diet of dairy and gluten free. The house is within walking distance to the town of Adare. Adare is one of the picturesque small...

During a road trip around the southern part of Ireland, we made Adare a rest stop one evening. Not having made reservations we typically stopped at whatever looked comfortable. This stop was definitely my favorite! Florence was a gracious host, the breakfast was second to none, and the room was clean and comfortable! Close walk to the pubs and shops....

We stayed for just one night on our first trip to Ireland and it was perfect. Clean, warm, and welcoming. The coal fireplace was a godsend after a blustery day. Florence is a gracious hostess and Winnie the dog was a character. Easy walk into town. Giant Irish breakfast. Highly recommended.

What a warm welcome to Ireland! We stayed at "Coatesland" on our first night in Ireland. Our hostess, Florence was an absolute joy to meet and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We were easily able to walk to the village center to enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shopping. Now for...

Pete and Bsrbara C We stayed two nights at Coasteland and it was an incredible experience Florence is a warm and generous host who welcomes you as part of her family. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast provided is extensive, from cheeses and fish to porridge to a full Irish breakfast. The location is excellent, an...

Florence and the staff were outstanding. The Irish Breakfast was very authentic and filling. The room and bath was clean and well maintained. We stayed 6 days and used it as home base to take day trips to Ring of Kerry, Ring of Dingle, the Cliffs of Mohr, The Rocks of Cashel, Bunn Ratty Castle and Connemara. We rented a...

My wife and I stayed at Coatesland House in early April 2015. We chose Coatesland due to its close proximity to many of the attractions we were visiting and its positive reviews. Florence exemplified the Irish hospitality that you hear so much about. The accommodations and prepared meals were wonderful and made it apparent that she takes great pride in...

We stayed at many B&B's in Ireland and this one was by far our favorite. My kids fell in love with their extremely intelligent dog, Winnie. Florence was a wonderful hostess and Louise (her helper) was a lovely woman who kept the place humming along beautifully. The breakfast was not only the Standard Irish Breakfast, but also smoked salmon, cold...
