We stayed one night and Mary confused us with the gardener initially. Musical house with singing. Recommended a good place to eat and room was comfortable and nice breakfast. Rooms are on the first floor.

The Connemara Guest house is a decent place. Unfortunately, we don't go to B&Bs to be entertained. We go for excellent service, good food, and pleasant surroundings. The owner of this B&B is an extremely outgoing person, who uses humor to make guests feel at home. She even sings Irish songs during breakfast! The risk involved here is that everyone's... More

My husband and I stayed at the Country Lodge one week ago. Mary is a lovely hostess and very talented musically, she demonstrates this during breakfast. The room was spotless and of good size. You can be sure of a good hearty breakfast to set you up for the day! The Lodge is in a fantastic location - very short... More

Mary already gold us that she would-be singing during breakfast, and she did, as well as playing the fiddle and the Irish flute. Tipical Irish songs so they sounded very tragical in a way. Overall we had a lovely stay here and Mary is a very fine host. She mentioned some nice sightseeing spots in the area. The rooms are... More

We had a great time at Connemara country lodge. Mary is a lovely person, she gave us some indication what we could do when we arrived and she helpt us with booking a horse ride. The breakfast was lovely en the music was nice, just a bit extra, but not to much. Perfect location, short walk to the centre. Fantastic... More

We arrived after a day of road trip in Mary's guest house. The welcoming was warm and fun, our room was ready when we arrived and the hostess gave us indication about what to do for the evening. The house is a walking distance to the center of Clifden and after dinner you can walk on the road that goes... More

Mary welcomes you with a smile and a joke in her spacious, clean and comfortable B&B. We enjoyed a good breakfast (made by Mary herself because the cook was ill, and welldone Mary!) The "extra" was Mary playing the violin and tinflute and singing requests. If you do not like the average hotel or B&B and appreciate music you should... More

This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. Mary is superb! Truly a one of a kind person. Your morning breakfasts are not only outstanding in taste but to top it off she plays violin, Irish tin whistle and sings for you with her beautiful voice. This is a one of a kind place very clean and pleasant stay
