Stayed here for one night, without a doubt the friendliest staff I have seen anywhere in a long time. From the housekeeping staff to the bar, every single person had a smile and a greeting. Room basic enough but exactly as described. Food in the bar and at breakfast were both excellent.

Went here for a weekend break. Checkin at reception was brisk and no problems. Got a nice room overlooking the rear of the hotel. Room was clean & quiet. Food in the station bar was good. All the staff were very nice. Especially the slovackian girl behind the bar. The manager of this hotel is on the ball. Talks to...

We got an excellent deal from the local voucher. Drove an hour from galway city through the scenery route to clifden. Greeted by their friendly staff at reception for a smooth check-in to the 2 bedroom apt located a minute walk from the hotel building. Parked the car directly in front of basement apt. Living space was adequate for 2adults...

We have just returned from a short break to Connamara, just to shake off the winter blues. The station house ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff, all very helpfull. The selection of breakfast on offer would meet anyones taste and plenty of it for what was very cold February. We had a great crack.

This hotel located in Clifden Co. Galway is ideal for touring Connemara. It is within easy reach of the National Park and many other attractions. The main attraction for This hotel is that it is located on the site of the old railway station, the original buildings have been beautifully restored and there is a museum on site which opens...

Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and cosy. Window was slightly noisy from the wind, handles wouldn't close properly. Beds comfortable but the pillows were brutal. Fantastic breakfast again staff were friendly. Great location. Definitely will be back and recommend to anyone.

To be honest we didn't expect to be wowed by a weekend away in February!! But we were so wrong. The hotel made it a great break. The staff were especially friendly ,helpful and all had that special west of Ireland charm....even the Easter European and English staff! The restaurant was excellent for an evening meal that included wine in...
