Based on the price we expected a decent hotel but were very disappointed right from check in (staff was unfriendly and unhelpful). Décor of the rooms was faded, the bathroom in need to repair, breakfast left a lot to be desired (presentation awful plus we had to asked repeatedly for gluten free bread and eventually received 1 bun each with...

A superb experience. Nothing is any trouble for Ronan and his extremely friendly team. They all have the same can do attitude, which made our stay memorable. Very nice Room, Bar, and a Restaurant which served a top class breakfast, despite being under pressure to serve many impatient hungry cyclists heading off on the Tour de Connemara. Very efficient maitre...

We had multiple recommendations to stay here, made reservations, but actually forfeited the room rate and moved on. Maybe we were jaded after a great B&B stay the previous days before, but it felt musty, but run down and was more expensive then we'd paid elsewhere. The first room was not all the way clean, they quickly relocated us, but...

Pleasant family break here at Easter. Lovely, warm welcome by staff to this lovely hotel. Hotel itself is modern build with unremarkable rooms, usual hotel standard. Burst the bar is actually across the car park in the actual former Clifden railway station, which is decorated as it would have liked when in use in the early 20th century. We took...

I recently stayed for a friends wedding- what a fantastic weekend. I loved the fact that the bar was separate from the hotel- and what a lovely bar! Very different to normal hotel bars, this one is is unique. We had a few starters before drinks & they were all very tasty & well presented. The rooms were ordinary hotel...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your most recent review, I'm delighted to hear you found the hotel clean and spacious and the staff friendly. I'm also delighted to hear you enjoyed the station house bar and its quality food offering. I was disappointing to read your negative comments in relation to the coffee offering on the Sunday morning. Like most...
