What a wonderful, secluded place! Right on the water. Incredibly nice hosts and the room was magnificent. I wish I was there right now. Clifden is the closest town and very nice to visit for a dinner (a cab will take you).

On our 4th trip to Dolphin Beach House, we found the welcome as warm as always. Clodagh is a most gracious host with great ideas of ways to spend the day. Breakfast in the beautiful room with magnificent views is delicious -- think locally smoked salmon -- and a great way to start the day. Because it is out of...

Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights. My breath was taken away from the minute we drove into the Dolphin Beach. Clodagh was very welcoming on arrival and we got an upgrade to the Cove Room. What a beautiful room with a patio out onto garden and leading down to the private beach. Our room with it's beautiful...

Beautiful B&B on a small rocky beach. Cosy sitting area and beautiful views from the breakfast room. Jaw dropping scenery as you travel to it along the sky road. Not for the faint of heart! The road is narrow and winding and exhilarating! Possibly terrifying in bad weather. Rooms clean well equipped with sliding glass doors to a small patio...

What an amazing place! Our favorite stay during our two weeks traveling the Wild Atlantic Way. Clodagh was the perfect host, ensuring we enjoyed every moment of our Connemara experience, including a trip to Kylemore Abbey, horse back riding on Cleggan Beach and our dinner in Roundstone. We especially enjoyed our tea time and breakfasts overlooking the bay, with unforgettable...

We only stayed at Dolphin Beach house one night, but wished it could of been longer. Before we arrived Clodagh was very helpful with booking a dinner reservation in Clifton (we went to Mitchell's which I would also highly recommend). When we arrived we were booked in and shown around and showed to our room. She also gave us some...

This B&B is in a great location near to Clifton. The rooms are ample in every way and different in their position facing the sea. However, is not really possible to sit in your room and enjoy the view as it can't be seen and you must go to the small guest sitting room to appreciate it. Parking is ample...

We were in the "crooked" room which had high wooden ceiling, underfloor heating, sliding door to exit to "Barbaras Gardens"- beautifull maintained garden area with little bridges and seating area and nice decorative touches. Or you could ramble down to the private beach with lovely enclosed area and small white sandy beach. We were offered some soup, salmon and apple...

We spent two nights at Dolphin Beach Country House - we hadn't realised it was not walking distance to Clifden, but the beauty of Lower Sky Road made us forget that after the initial drive. The views are stunning and we were unbelievably lucky to have glorious weather, so we were happy to sit and admire the views from our...
