Stayed here for 3 nights and only regret was that we did not have longer. Brilliantly built to make the most of the stunning views from bedrooms, lounge and dining room.We had a superb room on the ground floor with patio doors leading to a small private seating area.Very clean and well appointed with every convenience you could wish for....

Clodagh is charming knowledgeable & provides an excellent breakfast in her dining area that provides views of the sea in most directions. Rooms are spacious & beds very comfortable. All facilities works very well & decor is very tasteful. Ask for special rate in off season of spring & fall. This is a very peaceful place & far from traffic,...

We were super excited to stay here based on the outstanding reviews, however we were disappointed in the end. First, as others have stated it is more like a hotel than a B&B- meaning that the owners are present (as in visible in common rooms) for check in and breakfast, and that's about it. We got the sense that they...

Fabulous B&B in an idyllic location with beautiful views from our bedroom and the breakfast room. Clodagh looked after us very well, with good recommendations for eateries in nearby Clifden, and her breakfast was superb. Would love to come back for another visit.

We spent two wonderful days here. Clodagh and her brother were so welcoming and friendly. We love the secluded beach and water views we were able to explore. The breakfast area had the perfect views of the water and the breakfast pancakes were amazing. They had plenty of parking, but I must admit Sky road can be very narrow and...

Stayed at the Dolphin Beach House, Clifden, County Galway, Ireland in September 2015 with my wife. The property is beautifully maintained with landscaped gardens. The house is gorgeous and has great views of Clifden Bay. We stayed in the "Cove" room which is on the ground floor, was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It had a private patio door entrance...

This beach house was a wonderful respite for a tired traveler who needs a little quiet. Built into the hill over looking the bay the views are awesome. The breakfast room is all glass letting in lots of sunshine and views. Within walking distance of castle ruins and the shore. Owners were helpful and gracious. Family owned and managed.

Not far from Clifden (7 minute drive) we booked a room with a patio door to a terrace overlooking the bay. It was worth it. This B&B was more of a "hotel" than a typical B&B although the owner really made us feel at home. Interesting room layout with old suitcases as bed tables gave it an authentic feel. The...

Delightful place but very far from the town. Location was its strongest point - the receptionist was excellent. We were very disappointed with the comfort of the bed and lack of feather pillow - but maybe that is an unreasonable criticism. It was quite good value for money and the breakfast was good. We cancelled our second night and were...
