This welcoming and well-equipped B&B offers easy access to both Killarney and Tralee and a convenient jumping-off point for exploring the Kerry countryside. Only a few minutes’ walk to the center of town, Island Heights recently served as my home base during an annual music festival, and innkeeper Mary Anne made sure I was always comfy, well rested, and well... We were looking for a last minute reservation and were fortunate to get the last room available at Island Heights B&B. Mary Anne & Aimen were warm and welcoming - homemade baked goods (you must try the scones), coffee, tea, and even wine were provided for guests to enjoy in the front room. Our room was a lovely room in... More

This is the B&B that people used rave about, the elusive holy grail of home bakes, genuine welcome, great comfort and delicious breakfast. I have finally found a B&B that I can wholeheartedly recommend. example- fruit juice - freshly juiced as we waited. Bailey's Irish cream on my porridge! Freshly baked wheaten bread, scones, home made jam , home made... More

What a wonderful B&B experience! Maryann provides all the country home feel that you miss while traveling abroad. She was our mom away from home. She is an amazing host who made us feel like family. The room was lovely and cozy with an ensuite. She presented freshly made goods in the sitting room and during breakfast. Breakfast was great... More

There are just not enough words for how lovely this B&B is and Maryanne is possibly the nicest lady on the planet... The house it's self is lovely and welcoming. The service is second to none... Myself and my friend arrived around 6... we're shown to our room and then Maryanne left tea and homemade rhubarb crumble, cream and scones... More

Stayed in this beautiful B&B in August 2016, I must say the B&B itself is beautiful especially the inside. The best thing about this stay was the hostess Mary-Anne. She was hospitable and very caring from the moment we met her until we left the next day. Her service was exceptional and did not feel that we were away from... More
