Having had a look at B&B reviews on a well known mapping app for an unscheduled overnight stop in Killorglin, there was nothing that was really standing out but then, having seen that the Grove Lodge was right by the river we thought "why not"....More
We recently stayed here for 4 nights during our holiday down the West Coast of Ireland. The location is fantastic - right next to the river with views over to the mountains but still only 10 minutes walk into Killorglin for pubs, restaurants, a post...More
We stayed here for two nights on our holiday in Ireland.
The B&B is very clean and the en suite room we had was spacious and very comfortable, we had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden to the river.

Good morning -in answer to your question-yes it would probably take about 15 minutes depending on your walking pace. However it would be along a long straight and largely, unlit road. Car is much easier or taxi. Again it's your decision but the place is a wonderful guest house with charming hosts and great breakfasts. Above all I found it great value for money and a perfect place to tour the area. Cheers, Andy
