We stayed at the sleepy camel with a group of students whilst in Ireland. The place is just amazing! The owners cannot do enough for you! Lovely comfortable, clean rooms with a great kitchen and dining room space. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We stayed 2 nights at the Sleepy Camel. We were 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel was clean with plenty of facilities for cooking. I will definitely stay there again.

Our double ensuite was clean and comfortable, among the better hostel rooms we stayed at while touring all of Ireland. The self-catering kitchen area was large and clean and there was ample space for hanging out away from the room. Chris had a lot of info for exploring the area and was very welcoming.

I stayed here in Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd July 2016. I had a really pleasant experience. Firstly , as many have also said, Chris is a terrific host and genuinely friendly. I had a twin room and it was perfect for what I needed, which was just a base as I climbed a mountain on the 3rd. All the...

The staff/owners were so nice and welcoming and incredibly helpful with recommendations, etc. The beds were comfortable and the hostel was clean. We loved the clean and stocked self-service kitchen, and the pretty eating areas. Lots of big windows...

Great Hostel. Walking the Kerry way with a Rucksack and a tent you sometimes have to rest and recover energy indoor, in a real bed, with a nice kitchen and a comfy enviroment. This is exactly what the sleepy camel offers. The hosts are great. Chris even let us use the toilet after we checked out - without having to...

Great hostel and ideal for anyone walking the Kerry Way. Chris could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Rooms clean and bright - we had a comfortable ensuite double room at the back. Self-service breakfast was fine and very handy.

This place was my favorite hostel stay up to date. It has a homey atmosphere with friendly staff, clean showers, and well stocked kitchen. If you are looking for a truly relaxing stay and picturesque outdoors, Sleepy Camel is perfect. Just a 30 minute walk takes you to a beautiful beach. There's a bike rental nearby that you can take...
