Wonderful B&B. Mary and Jim are the nicest people. The views of the harbor, the ocean, and Portmagee are phenomenal. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and a sitting area and all the tea and coffee you could want. Breakfast is expertly prepared for any time between 8 and 10 and consists of numerous choices from traditional Irish breakfast...

From the moment we pulled into the driveway and until we headed to Dingle, three days later, we were home. Mary and Jim have created a beautiful home and B&B that they graciously share with all of us. We were so well "taken care of" that we didn't want to leave. We can't think of a more beautiful place to...

We stayed here during the Valentia 150th anniversary of the Trans-Atlantic cable and it was like a home away from home. Both Mary and Jim really looked after us and made sure we were well fed and also had a great nights sleep. They were so informative about the island, the festivities and were always willing to help with anything....

We were very pleased with Mary and Jim's B&B. We had a large room with large windows. From the front window, we could see the lambs playing in the field. The two side windows, we could see the waters between Valentia Island and Portmagee. The bathroom was spacious. Besides, the usual amenties, Mary gave all of the guests, bottles of...

As the title suggests, this was the best night's sleep we had on our entire trip. We arrived mid-afternoon and were welcomed immediately. We felt so welcome. The room was wonderful with a nice bathroom and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The windows were open allowing for a nice cool breeze, we almost fell asleep immediately. Additionally, my...

We stayed her on our trip on the Rinf of Kerry as we were going to catch a boat out to Skellig Island the next day. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was wonderfully big and comfortable. Lovely place to stay, very friendly hosts, good breakfast food with huge choice, and super rooms (giant bed and big shower). We really enjoyed our 2 nights here and were so grateful for the help and advice about the Skelligs.

This is a beautiful B&B. Quiet, great location and even better hospitality. We were traveling 2 adults and 3 kids - the Shealane Country House was able to accommodate us comfortably. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choices from continental to full Irish breakfast. The Shealane is perfectly located for hiking, exploring Valentia Island; Portmagee; the Skellig Ring...
