Couldn't recommend Marguerite's B&B highly enough. We arrived late due to an evening flight and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome even at half past midnight! The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed and we received a wonderful full Irish breakfast each morning (as well as a full continental selection). What really made the difference though was... More

Just to re-iterate all the positive comments on here already! I recently travelled along the wild atlantic way from north west to the south coast and Marguerite's was the last stop along the way. A lovely, cosy, relaxing b&b. I felt like I was at a spa whilst eating my delicious breakfast! The bedroom furnishing were a little outdated which... More

Just returned from a week at Marguerites B & B. Lovely lady for whom nothing is too much trouble.Rooms (get an en suite if you can) have all you require , including beautiful garden views. Great to sit out and enjoy the surroundings with a complimentary cuppa. Breakfast is varied depending on your choice, however go for the 'full' Irish... More

Marguerites is a lovely place to stay. The room was clean and tidy and Marguerite and her husband were helpful and welcoming. Their garden is gorgeous. The breakfast was great. Marguerite crochets and has beautiful handiwork for sale at a reasonable price. I hope to return one day. Kathy & Bob

We booked last minute to stay at Marguerites, and we were so lucky that there was a room spare! Our room was lovely, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and all amenities you could want. We arrived home late after a kayaking trip, and found 2 tasty chocolate bars as a midnight treat. Marguerite is a fantastic host: friendly, with great... More

Upon arrival were given scone with jam and cream and coffee. Lovely breakfast. We had a room that didnt have ensuite ,but nice bathroom located a couple of steps away. Located a good 20 walk from town centre, that said needed the exercise.

This is no doubt the best B & B I have ever stayed in Marguerite is a wonderful host. On arrival we were shown to our room which although small was perfectly formed. Small touches like Chocolate mint biscuits on the tea tray and a huge selection of teas and coffees. A small bunch of cotton buds ties with a... More

We visited overnight earlier this week and had a wonderful stay. We were warmly welcomed and shown a wonderful room. The only downside was that we did not have an ensuite but as we had made a mistake with the booking that wasn't a problem. All services were excellent and breakfast was amazing with home made bread. We were advised... More
