You must go to this place. It's totally unique. It really is like a museum - like looking inside a treasure chest. You could spend hours looking around the house. Mona is a very laid back, calm , warm and welcoming host. I will be back.

I don't usually write trip advisor reviews for places I have stayed but I felt obliged this time round as bridge house has been by far the best bed and breakfast i have ever stayed in. The place is really gorgeous, clean and mona was an excellent host. The food the following morning was absolutely amazing. We had a great...

I really have to say I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It's different and fun and stands out from the crowd of your average B&B. It's an aladdin's cave of treasures and art work and no part lacks interest all of which is down to its fabulous owner Mona Best. What a hostess! So welcoming and relaxed that you feel it's...

Most unusual place to stay that is....We had a lovely stay with Mona at her guest house and it really is full in every nook and cranny with wonderful treasures. You name an article of bygone days and Mona probably has it! We were treated like long lost friends not paying guests and her breakfast was extremely filling! Also the...

Great B&B! I felt more like a close friend/family of the hostess!! The place is spotless and is decorated in Victorian style with Mona's unique flair ;) We had a gorgeous breakfast both mornings with the hostess sharing plenty of stories & craic with us!! Ten out of ten.

We had a great stay at the Bridge House, Mona the hostess is unique and has a creative flare. The Bridge House is artfully decorated with items that honor a bye gone era, a mixture of Victorian, Art Deco and more. Mona also honors the godesses of the golden movie screen era. Our room was warm, cozy and romantic; fresh...

The Bridge House is a wonderful B&B. It looks unique. Mona the owner, has poured her heart and soul into ensuring that every single corner of the building is interesting and stylish. Our room and bathroom were fabulous and felt opulent. There are little touches everywhere, from the bedside reading (50 Shades of Grey beside the Bible - depending on...

Enjoyed every minute of our stay in Bridge House. The location is perfect for exploring Skibereen. On street parking nearby. The place is very eccentric and everywhere you look there is something else to smile at! It is also spotlessly clean and the bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!

Meeting Mona & enjoying her wonderful breakfasts was the highlight of our entire 2 weeks in Ireland! Her home is so interesting & creative!! Loved every second! The town of Skibbereen was such a treat! Wonderful Farmer's market & incredible restaurants! But, we still say that Mona & her wonderful home was the best of all! Forever friends that are...
