Beautiful house about a 10 minute downhill walk to Cobh towncenter. (get a cab for the way back. Pam was a delightful house and was very welcoming and answered any questions we had for recommendations. She also had the most amazing homemade scones I have ever tasted. I would stay at the Knockeven house just for those!

Very spacious accommodation finished in a rather dated style. The host is very welcoming and offers to assist where possible. The breakfast is OK. The house is located near the centre of Cobh but a bit too far to walk.

When I arrived at Knockeven, Pam treated us like family and rolled out the red carpet. She was very helpful at prioritizing places to see on our short visit. She even booked our accommodations when we returned to Dublin. I had the best Irish breakfast ever, topped off with homemade breads and scones, artisan cheeses and smoked salmon. She even... More

Arrived at this beautiful home to be greeted by our host and owner Pam. A delightful warm welcome with a lovely pot of tea and home made fruit scones. The house is stunning, but walls a little thin. Our room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom. House it beautifully decorated and situated about 2km outside of cobh. It... More

The place is amazing and in a great location. My wife and I stopped here on our honeymoon. Made it down to the center with ease came back late with a full belly (and shoes). We both enjoyed a beautiful run in the morning past the Church and down to the water. Pam was a delight and helped us out... More

Pam was a most welcoming hostess and welcomed us into her delightful old character country house with coffee and home-made scones. The house has a wealth of original period features and in a lovely quiet setting yet walking distance to Cobh for attractions and evening meals. We stayed for 3 nights - not really long enough to see everything in... More

We only had one night to spend here, but Pat was wonderful, put us in a beautiful room with bathroom ensuite. Breakfast was a lively affair, with all of the present guests sitting together in her beautiful dining room! We had quite the lively conversations, with everyone sharing where they were from, and what they had seen on their present... More

Our stay was from 5/11/16-518/16. Upon arrival to the Cobh train station, Pam picked us up for the short drive to Knockeven House. She is a very gracious and friendly hostess. We had a beautiful room with a view in her home built in 1840. It included En suite bathroom with shower, dressing table, sitting area, and large wardrobe to... More
