Others had the Seafood chowder or soup of the day with salads. Also excellent! Lastly was the pan fried sea bass, not Chilean sea bass, but very good. The Boat Inn is...

For a good value, the Boat Inn a super spot for a stop. The food is reasonably priced with tasty meals, the vegetarian option is tasty. The premises are cosy and comfortable. I would recommend a stay its location is good for fishermen or ramblers.

Good wifi, lattes, food, and atmosphere. And it's right in the center of the village or Oughterard, Co. Galway. Staff was very nice and accommodation. Other guests and patrons were friendly and from various places, including local. We had dinner here one night and the food was very good in both quality, taste, and presentation. There was a wedding party...

As a family we stayed at the boat for 2 nights, and Rory and his staff offered the best welcome hospitality and food, he also prepared the most fantastic wedding, we shared with Helen and John. Nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are basic, but in the process of being upgraded, they were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend it...

We stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting Kylemore Abbey. One of the staff at the Abbey highly recommended it and he wasn't wrong. We had our three small children with us and the staff were very welcoming. The food was beautiful! A real gem.

Modern, comfortable spot for excellent lunch, well prepared using fresh local ingredients. Friendly young staff trying hard, but who would do even better with a spot of training. Chowder top notch, filled with fish, hot and well presented.
