We spent one night at the Burren Lodge. The room was spacious and clean. We faced the road and heard heavy traffic for quite a while. There was continental breakfast and a very good selection of hot breakfasts.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Burren Lodge. The town of Athlone was just beyond the round-about, and it was the perfect stop the way out west from Dublin Airport, after we arrived. my husband and self had 3 weeks in Irish b&b,s and Burren Lodge Athlone was our 2nd stopover. we had 2 nights and very comfortable they were lovely hostess good breakfast nice surrounding,s good value well worth a visit if visiting Athlone
