We decided to splurge a little on our bicycle touring trip and chanced upon Ann's place. We got a great deal on it and it was worth every penny. Saved us from a cold windy night out in a tent and breakfast was included. The breakfast was amazing. We couldn't pass up on the full Irish breakfast (which fueled us...

The location, just outside of Waterville, is just beautiful. Ann gave us a warm welcome and great advice. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was wonderful. The eggs could not be fresher as she has her own chickens. We were just sorry we weren't there earlier when the chickens stormed the breakfast room.

Currane Lodge in Waterville, Ireland is an absolute gem. Located behind the town on Currane Lake this is a wonderfully situated B&B with huge windows for views of the Lake and Church Island. The rooms are nice and roomy and the guest area is situated away from the proprietor's residence space. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide option provided by...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in late September/early October 2016. We loved everything about our stay. The lodge itself is immaculately clean and quite charming. Our bedroom had a view of Lough Currane that was outstanding, as was the view from the breakfast area. Our hosts were so friendly and gave us lots of information about...

We arrived at Currane, was shown our room and asked our choice for breakfast from her menu and what time we should arrive. It was nice and we headed out for the day. We arrived back late and wrote down our breakfast requests on the note she left for us. While we were having breakfast, she came to our table...

The Mac Carthy's are excellent hosts. Keen on telling you all you want to know about the neighboorhood, with great historical perspective. Good advice for where to dine and they serve an abudant breakfast themselves.

As always, trusting TripAdvisor pays off. We were looking for a place to stay overnight during a two-day drive/exploration around the Ring of Kerry. We thought we may want to stay more on the ocean, but a bunch of the places we looked at in Ballinskelligs or near Valentia Island that had ocean views didn't have the same kinds of...

The location, overlooking the water, is ideal. The view really is quite breathtaking. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and provide a substantial breakfast. Decent beds and a pleasant dining area, although no real place to sit and relax.

We stayed at the Currane Lodge for 2 nights and had an amazing time. Ann (the host) is incredible - very responsive and accommodating to all our requests. She serves an incredible array of fresh breakfast in the morning which set us up very well for the rest of the day. The lodge itself is an incredible place. It has...
