My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I had a wonderful stay at the McCarthy's bed and breakfast. We were there for a short while, but the first thing that comes to mind are the PANCAKES!! Absolutely the best I've ever had, and I want to go back tomorrow! The rooms were modest yet quite comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and...

Perhaps we had too high expectations after all the rave reviews and 4* rating. Anne is very friendly. We didn't meet any of the family or have an evening meal. Our bed was small and you could feel the springs. The tea/coffee selection in the room was poor. Five reg t bags. The breakfast choice is excellent. I chose full...

My wife, two friends, and I stayed here in early August. While the weather was less than ideal, Ann and Aemon McCarthy were wonderful hosts. Ann prepared a dinner for us on the night we arrived (a bit late) that was the rival of anything we had in a fancy restaurant. Her breakfasts were the best we had on the...

The place is a little bit outside Waterville on the lake. It is a charming house, with a warm and welcoming living room, with a incredible view over the lake. Ann is very nice and always helpful. She knows all the walk-arounds on the ring of Kerry and showed us the way to a very beautiful loop in the region....

The view over the lake from the breakfast room to the small island with a relic of a 12th century church is worth staying at Currane Lodge by itself, throw in the Ring Of Kerry the warm and genuine hospitality from Ann and her family the gorgeous aromas emanating from Ann's Kitchen and you would definitely worse off for not...

Ann and her family were very welcoming. We stayed in the family room which was very good four Two adults and two teenagers. We came on the bus, no car, and Ann picked us up in town and connected us with drivers for all our activities. She was also great at recommending activities and setting us up with the right...

This BnB is located near the beautiful Currane Lake and although a bit difficult to find, it is worth stoping there while travelling the Ring of Kerry. Nice room with lake view; spacious bathroom with open shower. Great breakfast with tasty homemade scones. Outstanding hospitality also for individual desires (soy milk). Thanks a lot!
