We stayed here as a family of four on a very wet and rainy day/night. We were slightly late for check in but we were warmly welcomed by Mary, who showed us around and offered us coffee/tea/dinner recommendations. We stayed in room 6 on the ground floor and it was very spacious with 2 single beds and a queen size... More

Another excellent stay at Brookhaven for our family, this time travelling with two other families as we visited Waterville and the Dark Sky reserve. The B&B is simply excellent, the warmest welcome and clean comfortable rooms. The Irish breakfast is gorgeous! A great place all round

Brookhaven lives up to its reputation as a first rate B&B. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, but the real gem is the hospitality offered by the owners, Mary & John. They go above and beyond to accommodate their guests' every need, from arranging for early breakfasts for guests with early tee times to providing rides. From the moment... More

This place do deserve it's high rating. Loved the home baked scones and the tea that we were served upon arrival and chatting away with John. What a wonderful warm energy this man has! It was a short visit for us so we only got the chance to meet Mary very briefly, but she seemed lovely as well helping us... More

We traveled in Ireland for 2 weeks w our kids and 3 young grandchildren. The Brookhaven has very gracious hosts, spacious guest rooms, great breakfast, super location on the bottom of the Ring of Kerry. John and Mary offer a very authentic Irish experience!

We stayed here while hiking The Kerry Way. The room was by far the nicest we came across while on The Way. We had a king size bed and a large bathroom. The woman running the house was extremely energetic and kind. She was very friendly and offered to drop us off and pick us up from a nearby restaurant... More

Only got to stay for one night while cycling the SW of Ireland. Wish it could have been longer. Mary went out of her way to make us comfortable and rested after a long day biking. The rooms were outstanding! I've been in the hotel/resort biz for 30+ years, and for the money, these were some of the nicest rooms... More

We stayed at this very friendly B&B for one night at the end of a hiking tour. Mary is a fantastic hostess and went above and beyond the call of duty - helping us make travel and restaurant arrangements. Terrific hospitality. And the breakfast was exceedingly good. I'm not kidding that the scones at breakfast were the best we had... More

We loved our stay with Mary and John at Brookhaven. The warmth of our hosts, who even were so kind as to accommodate our early T-time by providing us with an earlier-than-normal breakfast, made the visit a memorable one. The rooms were SPACIOUS, comfortable and well appointed, and were VERY reasonably priced. It's a bit of a walk into town... More

What a treat to stay here while hiking the Kerry Way. The hospitality, warm greeting in the morning, the delicious breakfast, our spacious room, the suggestion of where to dine, and how to get there all combined for a great visit. Book here and you will be delighted. Thanks for the great stay.
