On a coach tour with Just Go holidays we only stayed the one night here, dinner bed and breakfast. The rooms were large, clean with great bathrooms the only downside was the hotel is split into two with an underpass connecting them from a busy road. The meals were good and the hotel pool looked nice although I didn't have...

Thank you for taking the time to send your feedback of your stay and delighted you had a positive experience. Unfortunately the underpass is the only safe alternative to accessing both areas of the hotel and we are limited as to how to send guests to our leisure centre without crossing a main road, but am delighted everything else was...

Worst bed(s) I have ever slept in in a hotel it comprised of 2 single beds shoved together. My back isn't the best as it is, however after sleeping in this bed I was so sore. Strange smell in the room also, window only opened at the top so possibly it hasn't been aired out properly for a while. Room...

I am disappointed that you did not have a comfortable night’s sleep in the hotel. While many of the beds in our deluxe rooms are zip and link beds, we do have other rooms that are not. If you intend to stay in the future, it is no problem to allocate you an alternative room that best suits your requirements...

Thank you for taking the time in reviewing the Carrickdale Hotel & Spa and delighted you found the staff pleasant and professional. In relation to the traffic noise, if you can request a back facing room it will be much quieter and I hope the traffic would not deter you from a future stay. I will forward your comments about...

Arrived here for a night with my mum after purchasing a special package that included a one night stay, dinner & full breakfast along with use of the leisure facilities. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly member of reception, discussed everything in detail and gave us our room key. The room itself was nice, comfortable. Everything it...

I am pleased that our receptionist on arrival greeted you in a professional and friendly manner. I have often passed this hotel on the way down to Newry but never thought of calling in. my husband booked a 2 night break - bed and breakfast and 1 evening meal - for the price of roughly £60 each! I wasn't expecting much but boy was I surprised. My only reason for not judging this as excellent is...

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The receptionist when booking in was very abrupt there was no pleasantness however the bar staff were very good. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was good but very cramped. The hot tub was excellent and the gardens are beautiful. Apart from the receptionist we had an enjoyable break.
