Stayed here for a night with my kids. Lovely hotel. Really friendly staff. Good bar food. Good breakfast. Rooms comfortable, a bit warm. Special mention to Francesco, who could not have been nicer. Bray is a great family town, easy access to Dublin.

The royal hotel bray is in dire need of refurbishment and modernising, the illusion of the grand reception area is shattered as soon as you arrives at ones room through the maze of narrow corridors and fire doors. The room we had (411) was small unclean and the ensuite was falling apart and not the cleanest. Needless to say we...

We stayed here for two nights.. our hotel offer was breakfast each morning and an evening meal. The food was fantastic. The portion size for the dinner was huge and delicious. Staff very attentive. I had requested one of of the refurbished rooms for our stay, which we got. Room was beautifully decorated and bed was really comfy. Only small...

This is an old hotel but seems to have been refurbished lately. Yes our room was a bit small but it was clean, warm and perfect for what we needed. We ate here and the supper was good, as was the breakfast. Pool area is nice, its had a sauna which was good. We didn't go to the bar so...

Didn't make it past reception as we argued over breakfast which should have been included and I also requested breakfast to be included when I booked on booking.com Had to leave and drive 20 miles south due to NO other availability in near by hotels. From my one experience here I would not go near it again and have never...

My room was small with a double bed, tea facilities for some reason placed in the wardrobe with no socket. Had to relocate. Towels in wardrobe, no rail in bathroom. The wash basin was inset in a stand but was placed back so difficult to clean my teeth. Room had been renovated but some parts of the hotel looked very...

We'd planned a weekend of birthday celebrations in Dublin and by some massive piece of luck ended up here instead. We caught the air coach in to Bray and our first impression of the hotel was a bit confusing as it looked nothing like we expected. Don't panic though if you find yourself in the same position. The view from...
