Lovely quaint hotel in the heart of The Burren, lovely bar and food, comfortable accommodation, friendly team working there. Have visited several times over the years, always love to go back to visit when in Ballyvaughan.

Stayed one night recently with the good lady. Staff helpful and room clean but quite small. We like walking in the Burren and if we had to bring any wet gear into bedroom and bathroom, we would have had a challenge. We were in a front bedroom and unfortunately the walls through to next bedroom were like paper, and could...

We were on day 6 and 7 of our self-drive tour and the tour company booked this hotel. We found it charming, the beds were unique to us and very comfortable. The staff were helpful. The room was clean and afforded us a good nights rest both evenings. It was convenient to the sights we wanted to see. We found...

Stayed here while touring the Burren. The hotel is quaint and centrally located in the Ballyvaughan Square. My room had a nice view of part of the Burren and was small but cozy. Not noisy except for the street traffic below, which died down in late evening. The hotel also has a private parking lot in the back. I had...

The tour guide brought us here and raved about the food, my husband hand the hake and was very disappointed in it. He had an upset stomach later and wasn't sure if that was the cause. I had an open Crab sandwich which was very dry and pretty tasteless. The Americans with us had Seafood Chowder and said it was...

This hotel is really a big B&B. THey must not get a lot of business because the staff running the hotel are the maids, receptionists, waitresses, and breakfast hosts. The food in their pub was great, although the service was slow. Someone cleaned the floors (tiles) in the morning and I almost broke my leg when I slipped on them...

Really enjoyable stay. This small hotel was very comfortable and the friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and unlike so many hotels, there was no buffet, all cooked freshly exactly to your order! We plan to visit again!

Stayed there 4 nights with kid for a trip to the burren region. While the hotel is ideally located to explore the burren area several things could be improved in the hotel. On our first entry to the hotel we recognized the food smell from the restaurant which was present throughout the hotel. Entering our fresh room we found the...

This hotel is an ideal location for sightseeing around the Burren. The room provided was basic but adequate. We were disappointed there was no view out the window just rooftops. Pulled back the curtains one morning to be greeted by a gentleman painting a chimney (bit of a shock!) Breakfast was hit and miss. On our final morning we waited...

The hotel is quite satisfying. The weak point is the staff: no one at the desk we waited 15 minute for the check in the a blonde waiter came a gave us just two indications. No other info about the services. For the check out same things: no one at the desk. For one night stay could be fine, not...
