This is a bright, comfortable, tastefully decorated guest house in the centre of Ballyvaughan village. The owners Gerry & Pauline were very welcoming & caring. The bedroom was comfortable & relaxing. There is on site parking and seating outside to enjoy the gardens. It is walking distance to all village restaurants & amenities. Breakfast was "gorgeous" with a huge variety...

What a great little place. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming, giving lots of info on things to do and see. About 100metres from pubs and cafes. (Definitely try o Laughlin whiskey bar!) Highly recommend this place to stay!!

Run by nice people who are really welcoming. Excellent range of breakfast options and Gerry could not do enough for you to make sure your stay was enjoyable. Nice room if a little small, but had everything we needed.

We stayed just one night at this lovely lodge. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our spacious well-furnished and equipped room (with a very nice bathroom) that overlooked the front street (but no noise from the road). The location is great -- you can walk to several of the hiking trails for which the area is well-known...

Gerry and Pauline were lovely, friendly hosts. Room was spacious with comfy bed, nice shower, and they provided face cloths-thanks. Great location to take the short drive to Doolin to catch the ferry to the Aran Islands. Now, what amazing fruits and yogurts and cereals for breakfast. AND a delicious salmon and egg scramble with locally sourced smoked salmon. Also...

This is the second time we have stayed in Ballyvaughan Lodge and, as before everything was done to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Ballyvaughan is a wonderful centre for exploring the Burren and Gerry has maps and good advice for places to visit. I would recommend The Hyland...

I would rename the place " Chez Pauline and Gerry" as the hosts are simply the best welcoming couple ever! I can't visit Ireland without spending a night a year there. Beautiful house, rooms and so comfy beds! Amazing breakfast, the place to have a fabulous Irish breakfast... Pauline and Gerry, we will be back! Keep up the Grand job!
