My wife and I stayed one night here on a driving tour of Ireland and loved it! It is in a fabulous location - Ballyvaughan is a beautiful wee village on the coast - and was very comfortable and quiet. We had a million dollar view from our bedroom window out across the bay towards Galway in the distance (see...

Warm, friendly welcome. Spacious, comfortable room with beautiful view of the sea. Seating area in the bedroom at the window was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Great location for exploring the Burren area.

We came for one night and stayed for three. Kathleen provided generous hospitality, the room was comfortable and the view was splendid. Location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. When I developed foot problems, Kathleen arranged for a call on a doctor (no easy task on a saturday!). We'll come again.

My husband and I went to Ireland for our honeymoon in 1997. While there we came across the village of Ballyvaughan. We knew that when we returned to Ireland we would spend more time there. We recently traveled back to Ireland with our daughters ages 10 and 13. My husband researched accomodations in the area and came across Oceanville and...

My partner and I stayed here for a night last week. We hadn't prebooked as we decided to stay in Ballyvaughan on the spur of the moment. This is probably the cleanest and most hygienic accomodation we have stayed in - Kathleen really is spotless! The breakfast was delicious and the orange juice was plentiful (thank you Kathleen, much appreciated...

Stayed here after being let down by our hotel. We were in Ballyvaughan so my husband could participate in the Burren Marathon Challenge. The b&b is very well located as it is just at the start finish line. However there were no allowances made for him to be able to use shower facilities after finishing his run, we had to...

In Oceanville B&B we have over 20 years experience and do our utmost to provide a hospitable and friendly service. Firstly, regarding shower facilities: The main bathroom downstairs with shower facilities was available for guests checking out on that day and who were competing in the marathon (half or full). They returned to shower and freshen up having left their...

My son and I stayed at Oceanville House last month and enjoyed it very much. The room was nicely appointed, the living room and breakfast room were just right and what I liked more than anything was the sun room that is in front of the home. I has a great view of the bay and greater Galway Bay. I...

The Oceanville is RIGHT next door to Monk's Pub, providing staggering distance to a local quite nicely. There is plenty of parking in the lot next to the large house. The landscaping is lovely, the view is incredible, out over the waters of Galway Bay. Our room was upstairs, a nice sized room with a nice-sized bathroom, impeccably clean, and...
