Very comfortable bell tent provided by the campsite with double bed and Wood burning stove. Pizza oven looked a lot of fun. Very scenic spot overlooking Shannon and Kerry. Dogs cats and chickens all friendly.

If your children love camping and adventure this is just the place for you. With three little boys in tow who are always poised for adventure this was a great find. I won't tell you too much, you 'll have to go there and see. Kevin and Trea (the owners) were so relaxed and wonderful. A home from home in... More

Our family of 4 spent 2 nights here recently. Our 2 teenagers were a bit sceptical of the idea of glamping, but luckily felt better when they saw where we were staying - more cosy camping as Kevin and Trea described it. We used the sauna which was fabulous on a rainy night in West Clare. The camper's kitchen is... More

My 5 year old grandson and I have spent the past 5 nights camping in one of the most amazing camping sites. Purecamping is a truly magical experience, it has everything required for a relaxing holiday and I mean everything, from the enchanted woods that surrounds the camping site to a sauna, kitchen with pizza oven, rain water showers as... Purecamping is a fabulous Eco campsite. It has so much to offer - lots of places to pitch your tent including some more private spots in the woodlands. If you prefer 'glamping' - they have Bell tents already set up - you just show up :-) Cars are not allowed where tents are pitched - so it is very safe... More

We stayed at purecamping for two nights and had a fabulous time. We were a big group, several families with kids. The kids had an absolute ball. The area was exciting yet safe to explore on their own, including the forest. It felt a bit like we'd stepped out of time for the weekend- gadgets and ipads left at home... More

It is not a good place for groups. We came with kids, wanted to spend lovely time in relaxing atmosphere by the campfire with the guitar. Unfortunately owners of the camp were asking us from 10 pm to become quiet even though there were very few other customers on the site. The atmosphere there is not relaxing, owners watching every... Camped in the woods amidst native Irish woodland. Woken by beautiful birdsong at dawn, including a cuckoo! Our clearing was next to an ancient ring fort (beware of the fairies!!) and had a small fire pit, for which you can buy wood to burn. The facilities were very good with a communal kitchen, traditional ceramic pizza oven (dough on request),... More

Kevin and Trea are fantastic hosts and can be proud of all their work on this lovely site. There's such a lovely vibe on the site and you can see everyone enjoying themselves. We stayed in our own tent (first time). Although you can't drive your car up the your pitch, there are wheelbarrows / trolleys available to cart your... More
