Visited here last night for a special occasion. The lady who greeted us, and took our orders was so warm and welcoming. She made the whole visit in my opinion! I had chicken Caesar salad for starter which was the most delicious I've ever tasted! For mains I had a beautifully cooked sirloin steak. My partner had requested a Halal...

Just amazing. Had the early bird menu - such a selection. Wonderful flavour throughout the meal. Staff had great knowledge of the menu to give helpful advice. Décor was charming olde world and beautiful. Just loved the whole experience and can't wait to go again. Cloverhill is charming with an English feel to it.

We booked a Sunday lunch and on arrival welcomed by friendly staff. We said we would go to the table with the menu and they gave us time to choose our meal from a good menu selection. I had told them it was my wife's birthday. We had a beautiful meal and when it came to bringing the deserts out...

We stopped here on the way back to Belfast on Sunday 13 May for dinner. It was a beautiful sunny day which was a bonus. We sat in reception and our order was taken soon after arrival. Before we were brought to our table we were given a little taster of what was to come. The meal was excellent. My...

We visited in in February to celebrate a 50th birthday. There were 6 of us dining. The food was flawless. 4 of the party had steaks and they were all cooked perfectly. The service was also without fault. Our waitresses surname was Faulkner (I forgot her first name) but she was extremely attentive. We had lots of wine, beer, vodkas...

We dined here recently. We were really looking forward to it as we've been coming here for a while and everything from start to finish has always been impeccable. Unfortunately on this occasion the food was well below par. I had monkfish for main course wrapped in Parma ham. The waitress had given me a fish knife but in actual...

I visited the Olde Post on a Thursday evening with two colleagues. It was very quiet and intimate. The staff were very friendly and obliging, with the chef agreeing to make up options which were not even on the menu! The food was really fantastic. All of us were highly impressed with the quality of the food and portion sizes....

Stayed here as it recommended by family. We were in room 4 at the back which had a double and single bed as well as a decent sized en suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the night away. Breakfast was more than enough, a lot of choice and great portion sizes.
