Just to say the rooms were lovely balcony, bathroom room all ok. Had a meal in the bar it was lovely. The problem was because there was a wedding on we were told no food served. Until wedding meal was over....however as we guests on hotel...she spoke to barman and then we were served. Tbh he shud have asked us anyway and when we ordered fish they had none ah now lads we were at a seaside... source it from Dooley's maybe or a fishmongers. All staff were lovely but the breakfast wasn't hot the sausages were rotten, bacon, pudding and eggs were all near cold. Toaster playing up and 🍵 tea had a rotten taste from it no you couldn't drink it thank god for orange juice. Only thing that was hot was the scrambled egg fried eggs also cold seriously. Guys what the hell?? Really the quality of the rest especially the tea was poorest I've ever tasted. Guys what does it take to have fresh water for tea and proper heaters to keep food hot. A couple of people walking around without masks. No one to supervise this either. Won't be staying again.... Very disappointed as it was a pressie. Hope what I said will be taken on board and worked upon. Connie

Stayed on sat the 20th of November. Booked what we thought would be a nice family night away for winterval so decided to stay in tramore. Firstly the money was taken from our account the morning of our stay before we even arrived we weren't informed about this at all but that was fine. Arrived at the hotel to he told rudely that the only time they had left for breakfast was 8.30 I wasn't informed on booking breakfast had to be pre booked before arrival then when I asked can we get any later the receptionist wasnt happy at all looked really cross and said I can squeeze ye in for 9.30 but make sure to be down on time I felt that was an awful way to speak to a guest and other guests listening I was so embarrassed. After that we went up to what I booked was a family room to one room with another door leading to another room which was freezing now when I asked about the room being so cold I was told that heaters weren't working and the receptionist did give us a plug in heater but it's a 4 star hotel I expected more. One of my kids have a medical condition and didn't feel right leaving home in a room next to me and my daughter in 5 so didnt want her staying there either so I asked the receptionist are all the family rooms in the hotel like this she said no just ours no idea why we got this rooms because I booked a family room that we would all be in the same room then she said is there an issue and I explained my reasons and got told if there is a problem we can move but was so rude about this. When my husband explained my sons medical condition she questioned him to why the 5 year old can't stay in the adjoined room I'm sorry but I don't feel safe leaving a 5 year old in a room where there is a door leading out to the hall near her bed. The breakfast was awful the staff were friendly at breakfast but the food wasn't nice at all. All the thongs that you left up the good were all on top of eachother eggs mixed with the bean one looked disgusting. I paid 150e for the night and it was the worse hotel I've ever stayed in just the recpionaist needs manners to make a guest feel like how I felt was awful. I would not recommend this hotel.

There were three of us.....we ordered our food and it came after approx 20 minutes two toasted specials with chips, and an open prawn sandwich.....the prawns were very few on stale brown bread, which was too hard to even cut with a knife. The toastie's and chips were nice. We ordered 3 Americano coffees, which came in tiny cups more espresso than normal coffees, two first, and 5 mins later the 3rd....they were cold and very strong to the taste...more like black tar....one dessert was ordered, which took around 30 minutes to be delivered to our table. When the Coffees arrived our plates were still on the table, and hadn't been removed, and this caused table congestion as the waiter had to hand my coffee into my hand as there was no place to leave it on the table. The plates were then removed. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, and I believe it's not worth 1 star for the food we had, and the service, I wouldn't recommend it. Hopefully the owner and Manager will take note and bring this Hotel to the 4 Star standard it is stating it has been awarded.

We stayed in the Majestic for my husband’s birthday. We had a large family and the hotel was very helpful in locating us together. We had a lot of small children which wasn’t easy for the hotel staff during meal times. They showed endless patience. They have a very talented chef who made an incredible birthday cake which would be hard to match. Reception staff were very helpful with all the numerous changes. Rooms were lovely.

They list on their menu that a vegan option is available on request. The waiter had no idea what vegan meant and said it was clearly a mistake on the menu. I rang reception to get them to check with the kitchen directly could they make anything vegan. I even made suggestions of a veg stir-fry or veg curry. After speaking with the chef the response relayed to me was that the closest they could do was a chicken salad!!! I sat there with my family of 6 people as they ate their dinner and I had nothing on offer at all but water apparently. Very disappointed at supposedly a 4star hotel.
