Would highly recommend. Trish was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Beds were really comfortable and the house lovely and warm. Breakfast was a feast. Bunratty is a great location to stop over when travelling through Ireland.

It is doable, but I recommend driving if you have a car,, the road is narrow and not necessarily conducive for walking.l Also, if you are going to the banquet in the evening it will be dark when you return and walking would not be advisable as the road is not well lit. The lady who runs Briar Lodge is very helpful and may be able to offer some suggestions for her. I would suggest emailing her directly.
