in a country where hospitality is woven deeply into the culture, it is difficult to find the best of all the hosts, but I believe that Mary and James can beat them all. Here we found warm, charming and homy atmosphere. Ballybunion is a small town with gorgeous nature and greatpavlekovic people.

From the moment we drove into the carpark we noticed the striking guesthouse that is The 19th Lodge. The beautiful colour of the guesthouse, to the very well kept garden should have given us a clue to what awaited us inside. We were greeted at the front door by our hosts,James and Mary who immediately made us very welcome. James...

Large bedroom with everything you could need also had enormous comfortable bed. Nice view up towards the golf club.Room had coffee or tea making facilities. Also had iron and ironing board which I did not use. Would be hard to find fault with my room.

We could not have asked for more. James and Mary were so thoughtful - from the graciousness with which they dealt with our late arrival to the electric blankets being on in the beds, if you pardon the pun, our welcome could not have been warmer. We enjoyed a lovely full breakfast the next morning and would love to have...

The service was exceptional. Mary and James ensured our every need was catered for. One of our party needed to do a conference call and there was a beautifully appointed seating area where this could be done. Room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean, with spacious bathroom fitted to very high standard. Dining area bright with lovely views, and breakfast...

Excellent lodging for a golf trip. Came here straight off of a redeye. The owners treated us with a full breakfast and called the golf course to move our tee time up (we'd booked a later time in case of delays). Service could not have been better. Rooms were very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with the standard of the room, the fresh breakfast and most importantly the warm greeting from both Mary and James. I would definitely recommend this as an option for anyone playing golf, driving the Wild Atlantic Way and attending a wedding locally.

Mary & James are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, they are always on hand, and happy to assist with any queries or requirements that you have. The property is a two minute walk from the golf club and around 3 / 5 mins drive from the town centre. We've stayed twice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time.

This is the third time we have stayed at The 19th Golf Lodge. Mary and James are always fantastic hosts. They make us feel like old friends! Great location right across the street from Ballybunion Golf Course. Our accommodations have always been clean and comfortable. They always are very friendly and provide a great Irish breakfast. Looking forward to our...
