A group of friends and mine went here for a few days. It was only a 5 minute brisk walk to the town centre. The house was a great size: two double rooms and one twin. It could do with a bit more upkeep...there were switches tripping, bulbs missing in lamps/lights and the main shower wasn't working. 6 of us...

A group of 8 of us stayed here for the October Bank Holiday weekend 2014. We had previously booked a house to fit all 8 of us but it fell through last minute and we were lucky enough to find Lios Na Mara. We had to rent 2 houses as they only sleep 6, cost us 600 for the 2...

Nice houses exactly 1km from the beautiful beach in Lahinch. Sleeps 6. Master bedroom ensuite. Quite spacious, which is a big plus in my book. Shower and cooking facilities are quite basic and I understand why that has to be the way. It would be nice if the owner left us either more than one dishwasher tablet or none at...

Stayed here with friends over the June bank holiday. Looks a bit shabby from the outside but spacious and clean on the inside and excellent location for the town which is a 5 minute walk. Would also be good for families as was quiet in the evenings. Lily was nice and there were no problems with getting the deposit back....

Stayed here for 3 nights with a young child. Caretaker was friendly and the house was basic but cleaned well. I have to agree with other posts the house was basic but fine for our needs but in need of redecorating. It was close to the beach front. This property would be perfect for young groups looking for somewhere for...

We rented two houses in Lahinch County Clare Ireland because there were 8 of us traveling and finding hotels that will allow four to a room in Ireland is not easy. We booked through Vacation Holidays in Ireland and got a good price. The houses were in good condition and clean. They could accommodate five people each. My frustration was...

+ House was very clean. + House is in good location (short walk to town/beach). + Site caretaker was very helpful & friendly. - House is not in the best state of repair (broken glass in en-suite window, towel racks loosely hanging from wall, side of bath hanging off). - There were alot of noisey neighbours / passers by at...

“These are self catering houses. Bring everything you might need, for example salt pepper, cooking oil etc. They don't leave you anything. That is the norm in Ireland but at these prices, it shouldn't be.”
