Myself and my mum came here for the combined yoga and hiking experience. We both found the whole experience both extremely relaxing and restorative and it completely exceeded any expectations we had. The purpose built yoga room was a very special space with a stunning view. The hikes were breathtaking and the food was delicious - fresh and healthy and... More

I have just returned from my third yoga weekend at the Cliffs of Moher Yoga Retreat, each one being a unique and great experience. Warmly greeted by Michael on arrival and straight into a relaxing yoga class. Clean warm bedrooms, a homely kitchen and comfortable lounge enabled lots of quiet down time. Yoga and meditation in a purpose built peaceful... More

This purpose built yoga retreat venue was superb in all aspects. Comfort, decor, cleanliness, food, setting, service, customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and a helluva lot of thought has gone into making this retreat absolutely perfect from the on-site allotment growing organic ingredients for the catering to the homeliness and comfort of the decor and fittings in all... Absolutely stunning. I preferred to stay behind the wall, some preferred to go right to the edge, their choice, you fall or trip and you die, simple as ! Quite a bit of walking but well worth it. A lot of people around. It a visitor attraction that's what you get. It's plenty big enough to fit us all in.... More

I just returned from the best ever YOGA retreat - what made it so special? A combination of a wonderful venue - beautifully located, peaceful and quiet, cosy (the open fire place, various sitting rooms, outdoor hot tub and little sauna are an added bonus), wonderful views - a YOGA studio which supports growing your mental space, overlooking the ocean,... Since I enjoyed this retreat so much the first time, nobody couldn't keep me away. I half thought since it's only been three months since the last time I visited that it might not be as good as I remembered, but I have to say it was even better this time!!!! which I didn't believe was possible. I'd like to... More

Wonderful location to get away from it all. Beautiful views from the yoga studio, and also the rooms. I was very impressed with all the thought and care that went into make this retreat center comfortable, relaxing and enriching. While there were many participants at the particular retreat I attended, somehow we all managed to melt into our spaces for... More

The Buren is so beautiful, sometimes spares sometimes green, round towers, castles and then the best view on your way back to Galway, the Galway Bay, words or pictures can not express it beauty. The Cliff's of Moher are the best attraction in Ireland in my opinion, although I have not seen giant causeway yet. I took my tour with... More

I loved my room - great sheets and pillows. My shower and bath were great - plenty of hot water. The food came from the garden. I loved being at the studio, looking out on the land and learning at the same time. It was a magical week. I can't say enough!

This little collection of buildings and gardens and yoga studio is situated in the wilds of West Clare, minutes walk from the Cliffs of Moher and some beautiful bathing spots. Mari Kennedy's retreat was awesome. I was out of practice and never a serious yoga practitioner, but the classes were cleverly designed to be challenging but doable for all ability... More
