Too bad we could only stay one night. Our Room was clean, and there was everything for tea or coffee. Lots of parking, It is in a very nice location, walking distance to town (1 KM), The wifi operated well, and an excellent breakfast. Next time we will have to visit longer.

Forest Lodge is outside of Dunfanaghy which today is a busy lively place. The location of Forest Lodge is peaceful and quiet with good access to the unspoilt wild places in this area. The effort needed to walk to them is always rewarded. The marvellous wild Tramore beach can be reached from the house. Jean has created a lovely home...

Just home after a very relaxing 2-night stay at Forest Lodge, Dunfanaghy. Jean, the hostess was a lovely lady who made our stay very enjoyable. Her home was very clean and our bedroom was bright, clean and warm. Breakfasts were really good, with plenty of choice. Nothing negative to report at all. We intend to go back.

Nice BnB outside the village on the road to the cape - we had a peaceful stay and a room upstairs with view on the bay - very good breakfast and hostess very accomodating - quiet surrounding with large walking possibilities

We had a very nice stay at Forest Lodge, Jean was very friendly and accommodating. Her breakfasts were absolutely the best in Ireland, as was her coffee! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay from her front yard; this was very restful. Walking on the edge of the bay (at low tide) was a wonderful exploration! There is a...

Great location and Jean is indeed, a very nice host and very accommodating with all requests. Wifi was comparably good. However, the room and facilities were just not in line with what we have gotten anywhere else in Ireland for the money. The furniture looked worn out, the room was very small for the price and especially discomforting was one...

My husband and I spent two glorious days at Forest Lodge. Jean is a fantastic hostess and the location could not be more peaceful. Lovely, short walk into town or right onto the sands from their front door. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Jean!

After our disappointment in Dungloe we were so happy with Dunfanaghy in general and Forest Lodge in particular. The owner, Jean, is very friendly and the house is cosy and comfortable with a nice lounge and a warm atmosphere. The location is beautiful and close to stunning Holme Head. Chairs and a table in the garden were a welcome touch...

We went to this wonderful bed and breakfast in September 2013 and were absolutely amazed. It is wonderfully decorated, the landlady and her family (if around) are wonderful and sweet persons, the breakfast, usually a really tasty full irish breakfast is as yummy as it is stuffing and its location, even though it is a little bit far from the...

We really enjoyed our stay at Forest Lodge. Jean was warm and welcoming, breakfasts were yummy (with music playing softly), and the room oh-so-comfy. There was lots of room for parking and the B & B is within walking distance of town (if you're willing to walk 10-15 minutes). Her garden is lovely to sit in on good days, has...
