You can see the beauty of Connemara from your bedroom window here! Great walking in every direction, and short drives to many great mountain, bog and beach areas as well as historic sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful showing us where we could go walking. The kitchen is clean and well-organized and the common rooms are friendly and cozy.... More

Great place where i would like to return!! Unforgettable nature, view is on the mountains and Atlantic ocean. I think it's popular place because there were a lot of people. And firstly it seemed so noisy on the ground floor. But it just seemed :) different peopple, different culture met there. One guy played the guitar and song by unusual... More

A warm welcome received by Fergal, hostel manager, and his friendly, helpful, hard working team. A charming hostel on the edge of Killarney fjord and set below majestic mountains with various hiking routes up and along. A basic, comfortable dorm with large open shower (room 1), large living room with cosy sofas, tv, dvds and board games. Large, open dining... More

We stayed there for 1 night in a en-suite private room. The area has nothing to offer except beautiful view. The hostel's facilities are great and the common rooms are comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Our room was big but not comfortable. The heat didn't worked. The bathroom was horrible and the water was not appropriate for drinking and... More

Stay in a quadruple bedroom, bunk bed and a double bed, clean with own bathroom and toilets. Cheap, friendly and relaxed. remote location away from traffic and neighbours. Felt to be at the end of the world. You can cook your own food, share dining room and a TV room with others. Will stay there again...

We spend 3 nights during our 10 days trips across Ireland. We had a 4 beds room + private bathroom. Hostel was situated at a great location with an excellent view on Connemara mountains and The Killary Fjord. The staff was nice and welcoming. Room was OK nothing to complain about. Really enjoyed our stay there, you can chill in... More

Our first time in a hostel as a family and we didn't know what to expect. We stayed in a private six-bedded room with comfortable bunk beds. Location is great with the stunning view of killary fjord and the friendliness of the staff was overwhelming. Toilet was clean but could be improved. Overall a wonderful stay after a long drive... A friend of mine and I stayed at the sleepzone Connemara for one night and were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. They answered all of our silly questions, told us the best route to the beach and even offered us to borrow some bicycles so that we will be quicker. (Thanks Barbara!:)) The hostel itself is very cosy,... More

Located down a long dirt road through sheep fields. Hostel has average rooms...a couple bunks. Clean but less than special. But if u are booking a hostel you are expecting much. The view was to die for. I watched the most stunning sunset i have ever seen. Comes with a simple toast and jelly hostel style breakfast.
