My wife and I plus two friends stayed for three nights B&B+ dinner in October. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The food was consistantly excellent at each meal, what brilliant chefs. The rooms in the newer building were good with extremely comfortable beds. My only adverse comment was that the bathroom was poorly lit and could of done with a...

My wife and I have been visiting LEENANE for many years and have stayed in rented accommodation or B&B's for all of that time. I always had a sense that the hotel was for an older clientele. A flying visit (to refresh the soul) had me looking for accommodation options and the hotel kept appearing (at a compelling price). I...

Had a three night stay in Leenane Hotel , in August and enjoyed it immensely. The food was divine breakfast and evening meal. I don't think I ever ate as much but couldn't resist. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is definitely worth a visit and reasonably priced. I will be back as its a great base to...

We stopped here by accident as we were on a driving tour of Ireland. this is a quaint, older hotel but the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The view of the water is incredible. The staff is helpful and the food in the bar was ok. Breakfast was great.

Just back from a 4 night stay in this hotel - what a gem. Having visited most parts of Ireland and with a real love of the West coast of Donegal, I have now fallen in love with the stark beauty of Connemara. Leenane hotel is an ideal centre from which to enjoy local tours and other areas of this...

we enjoyed the large portion of excellent mussels. kids portion of daily roast was also good and somewhat healthy (veggies); very good seafood chowder, although they didn't clean the fish very well and plenty of scales could be found. fried hake was also very good. there would be a cruise twice daily along the fjord; check times before your trip

I am an Avid Motorcycle touring enthusiast and I spend nearly every weekend travelling the country on my Motorbike. I first found this Hotel in October 2013 and I loved it, since then I have been back 3 more times, so roughly every 12 weeks I have been going back. 3 of my visits were solo motorbike trips and 1...

The dining experience was wonderful. The Leenane has a very talented chef. His (or her) mushroom soup was exquisite, and I have the impression all ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. The waiting staff were also very attentive and made the experience a real pleasure. Thanks!
