we picked this place to stop en route to the Pyrenees. I liked the name sauzet since it reminded me of footballer franck sauzee. great choice. bedrooms are very high spec as long as you are not too tall and are located in the tower. restaurant serves great local food and wine - try the €25 menu if you can...

Visited with my husband and two teenagers en route to South of France. We were allocated a room with two single beds and a put up double bed. Room was a little cramped but ok just for one night. En suite shower room was small but adequate. We were travelling with a dog, who was welcome at the B and...

Not the best Logis hotel we have stayed in. We had booked, and arrived mid-afternoon to a cool welcome. Steep stairs; our room (7) had a good view over the countryside, but no kettle etc which even basic chain hotels provide you with in France and the headroom was affected by ceiling beams. OK breakfast - delicious fresh orange juice...

Service was efficient and friendly and the food was interesting and well presented. Starter of scallops and prawns in a mild...

A very nice little 2* Logis in Sauzet. The village itself has nothing to offer really, except a baker's, a grocery shop and a post office. We were just passing through and stayed only the one night. It is a beautiful building, originally a castle and renovated in 2010. Our room was extremely small and on the top floor reached...

We were booked into this hotel by a friend for a wedding weekend in a nearby village and to be honest,we weren't expecting a great deal. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is a lovingly restored old house. Beautiful old stone steps...There aren't many rooms..not sure how many exactly, but maybe a dozen. The rooms are all very well decorated and...

Travelling the back roads of France with a group of 8 ( 4 couples) we came across this gem. a beautiful hotel in a small country town. Old hotel that has been well preserved and looked after. Tidy character rooms, fantastic little bar, very friendly people and great meals, (3 courses for 16.5 euro, 10 good sized fresh prawns as...
