We have wanted to visit Angkor Wat for decades. It’s on our bucket list!😂. We chose this hotel after reading some excellent reviews - and we have not been disappointed! David and his staff have been superb throughout our stay. Nothing is too much; and someone is invariably on hand to help or advise. Our room was well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant served high-quality, well-prepared and tasty food. The Asian cuisine is, unsurprisingly, particularly good! The spa and wellness centre was also very good; we both had an expertly-administered massage after our private tours of the temples in the area. Which brings me to the reason we were here in the first place - Angkor Wat and all the other fascinating temples nearby. We arranged directly with the hotel two days-worth of private (just my wife and I) tours. Much easier, and better value, than doing it through a separate tour company. The hotel employs freelance, specifically trained tour guides (there are apparently 5000 of them in Siem Reap!!), so you know you’re going to get a well structured, informative tour. Which is exactly what we got! Our tour guide, Sinet, and driver, Nara, could not have been better. Nara was an excellent driver. In some very challenging driving situations (mostly due to heavy traffic and road conditions) he was smooth, steady and efficient. We felt safe and secure throughout our magnificent two days. Every time we returned, hot and sweaty, to our comfortable and cool vehicle, we were presented with a cold bottle of water and cold facecloths to give ourselves a good wipe down of face and neck; blissful after the horrendous heat and humidity! As for our extremely knowledgeable guide, Sinet, we have nothing but praise. We learned an enormous amount from him, about every one of the dozen temples we visited over the two days. He explained in detail about the carvings and reliefs; their historical and cultural significance; and the timelines regarding changes in rulers and dominant religions over the last thousand years or so. He was also a very accomplished English speaker, even making jokes and using idiomatic expressions. In short - an excellent and friendly man! Thank you Sinet and Nara for making our visit to Siem Reap so memorable! So to sum up our visit to Cambodia. Excellent hotel; excellent tour. We could not have asked for better!

The Ananasaya hotel guest experience is very unique and special. The genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff is top rate. We came to visit Angkor Wat as a family of five. The rooms feel like individual villas located within a lush (well maintained) tropical landscape. The central cascading pool is spectacular! The owner of the hotel introduced himself and asked about our stay… everyone is here to make sure you have a great visit! We would highly recommend the Anansaya La Maison Hotel and Spa if you’re staying in Siem Reap. The boutique hotel is very close to the temples at Angkor Wat. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive in coordinating airport transport even with our late night arrival…as well as finding us a driver and tour guide for Angkor Wat.
We had an AMAZING tour guide named Sinet Heng. Sinet was extremely knowledgeable about the Cambodia's temple history and culture and made the tour well worth the affordable price. Sinet really made our tour extremely interesting and FUN! Both the Anansaya La Maison Hotel and Sinet made our visit to Siem Reap/ Angkor Wat a truly special and memorable experience.

We stayed 6 nights at Anansaya, with a package including 90-min massage per day per person and roundtrip transfer to the airport. Everything was perfect : the staff is dedicated and very nice, the rooms are beautiful, the pool area is even better than in the pictures, massages are great and the food is excellent. Lots of treats like free refreshments whenever you come back from a visit or sometimes at the pool, fresh fruits in the room, and free laundry. The hotel is very calm although close to a large road, it is conveniently located between the center and the temples. They offer free tuk tuk to the center (you only pay the way back). The hotel also organizes day trips to the temples and other sites. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Anansaya. Many thanks to David (owner) and his lovely team, we will definitely come back!

This hotel is beautiful as soon as you enter the entrance hall. We feel a soothing, fresh atmosphere with this vegetation (super well maintained), these Buddhist statues and this style which combines modernity and authenticity. The staff is attentive and accommodating. Care is taken even in the dishes: beautifully prepared fruits, details with the banana leaf,... and it's good! The tiles of the swimming pool (relatively large) which reflect the light in the sun are really beautiful. It's classy, there are edges to sit or sip your juice in the water. This place is suitable for all those who wish to relax in a quiet and clean place after a good outing to the temples (located less than 4km) or the city center. The location is ideal and a few meters away you can also discover the charm of the Cambodian countryside. Thank you for your kindness, it’s a successful bet for Anansaya which really makes us feel at home!

After arriving by car from Phnom Penh and every evening upon returning from visiting the temples of Angkor we were welcomed and pampered in this oasis of beauty surrounded by greenery. We had two very spacious connecting rooms, really beautiful, elegant and very comfortable, with double sinks outside the bathroom, large bathtub and shower. The hotel staff was very kind and professional, starting with the owner David, who was always present and attentive to our every need, both during the welcome phase and upon departure. We took advantage of the pool and all four of us tried the massage at the spa, which was also very well looked after, and it was wonderful. Of note is a small internal clothing shop and the convenience of the Tuc tuc with the hotel sign available to be accompanied to the city center, just a few minutes away (they left us the WhatsApp number and we also called it to return) . Breakfast is served by the pool with a wide à la carte choice, with fresh products prepared on the spot. Thanks again to David and all the staff, we will certainly recommend the hotel to anyone who comes to visit the splendid temples of Angkor

Our stay at Anansaya La Maison was exceptional. David and his team welcome you like family and make sure you are treated like royalty throughout out your stay. Another gem of a find which should be nominated for the small luxury hotels of the world.
The hotel is very luxurious, super clean and modern. The rooms are extremely spacious with high end toiletries.
Breakfast was delicious, freshly squeezed fruit juices, buffet selection, egg station and if that is not enough there is also an a la carte menu to choose from with good vegetarian and vegan options.
The pool is spotless with ample sun beds and the massages in the spa were extremely relaxing.
Once you have stayed here you will want to come back again and again!

If you’re looking for a cozy home away from home, look no further.
My husband and I booked a 3 day stay at Anansaya La Maison to celebrate his birthday. Immediately from our arrival, Emily, Bin and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome. They even surprised my husband with a birthday cake!
The rooms were spacious, meticulously clean and made amazing use of indoor/outdoor space so you never felt far from nature. The amenities were 10/10 too. We enjoyed the spa services, hotel shuttle to downtown, complementary airport transfer, free laundry and a yummy included breakfast each morning.
Another highlight of the trip was the private Angkor Wat tour the staff arranged for us. Tour Guide, Som, and driver, Mr. Chea, helped us make the most of the 1 day tour. Som was so friendly & knowledgable. His tour taught us so much more than we could have anticipated not only about the temple system but also about the Cambodian culture and history as well. The other benefit about staying here was that, because of the hotel location, we could pop back for a breakfast & rest before more touring. An essential we hadn’t anticipated when you book a 4:30am sunrise start!
We can’t recommend Anansaya La Maison enough. This place made us fall in love with Cambodia and we can’t wait to come back.

The experience has been amazing, from being met by David the owner of Anansaya La Maison at the airport with fresh coconut juice and a cooling towel then shown to the most exquisite room adorned with fresh lotus flowers and a huge bathroom amidst plants and flowers in an open air shower. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese plate and fresh fruit and thankfully a lot of water. We took two tours which were organized by the hotel through Long who helped us navigate the best things todo with great patience, especially as we decided last minute to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat and hired an English speaking guide Som. The temples are large and spread out, so it is necessary to have a driver, we chose a Tuk Tuk which is the perfect form of transport for that area. Mr Pich waited outside while we toured the temples and as soon as we were done he would hand us cold water and a cooling eucalyptus scented towel then transport us to the next area. As for our guide I can’t speak highly enough of Som who was extremely knowledgeable and very interesting he was easy to understand and navigated us through the temples, in the shade, away from the crowds and narrated the history in such a way we were spellbound by his descriptions. My only regret is not staying longer as Cambodia is truly magical.

This boutique hotel is amazing, the service was superb with flexibility for us to have an extended checkout time which enabled us to visit Angkor Wat for the sun rise. The room was very modern and the staff gave us a free bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We also booked a tour through the hotel and was a VIP, professional, and went directly from the airport to the temples. Binn, the hotel manager made everything possible to personalize our needs and made this one of the most memorable hotel stays we have ever had. We are so grateful to have found this hotel and highly recommend to others. Sion& Grace Agami - 30 yr wedding anniversary

Incredibly friendly staff. Good and big breakfast. Great pool area, plus in the afternoon there was a cool drink and something to nibble on as a courtesy from the house (free of charge) In the room there were 4 bottles of water, a Coke and a Sprite included every day. Free laundry service included (drop off before 1 p.m., return at 8 p.m.) and we booked with massages included, just as great. Free TukTuk shuttle (there and back) to Pub Street, great for eating outside in the evening.
For only USD 15 they took us by TukTuk to each temple (1-3), the driver waited for 3 hours and picked us up again.
